Arabic_Masseur's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
My first client was used to have massages by professionals over the past 10 years all around the world !
I was very nervous, first massage and we were all naked for a full body relaxing massage. He offered me some wine, and there we began a little more chilled ! Wine and massage : perfect combination !
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
It's been 3 years now, I never have a day without a massage !
Best addiction ever :)
Somebody save me !
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I consider myself as somebody with a lot of positive energy, willing to offer it in a massage session.
Touching, feeling, smelling, all senses opened ! That's the key of a successful session :)
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I could literally look onto one's yes for minutes and minutes in silence.
This has 100% the same effect to the soul as a massage.
That's why I always look intensively at my clients' eyes !
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Yoga, Theater, a LOT of books (novels and well-being books), cooking and traveling.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Come and See me, let's have a drink, I'll tell you all !
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
It's been 3 years now, and as long as I have my 2 hands going on !
I'll probably die in a massage session at age 78 !
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I travel every month in another town in France or Belgium, and every 2 or 3 months abroad.
Traveling is opening someone's soul to the world and accepting other points of views!
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Extensive, probably not, but a clever one, definitely YES !
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I can feel one's needs without talking, just by feeling the energies
Why did you become a Masseur?
Because I lost AMERICAN IDOL so I had to do something with my life.
Jokes aside, I did a massage seminary in Thailand a few years ago, and I felt in love with the technique and the relieve that did to my body (my back). It was then the first step to my masseur career !
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
First of all, no shame, you can ask whatever you want. Feel free ! No jugement !
And then, be sure, I'll treat you properly - unless you ask otherwise !!!
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
Changing religion, and praying their new God of massage which may be.... me !
(My massages are better than my jokes, sorry!)
