ArminRitz's Personal Masseur Interview
Last Updated: Oct 26, 22:24

1
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?

- I want them to feel that they’ve had an experience uniquely crafted for them. They should leave feeling lighter, more relaxed, and fully rejuvenated. It’s all about creating a lasting sense of peace and well-being.

2
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?

- Training gives you a foundation, but a successful Masseur needs more than just technique. Empathy, intuition, and the ability to connect with clients are essential. It’s about creating an experience that goes beyond just a massage.

3
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?

- I’ve enjoyed traveling in the past—it brings new perspectives and ideas—but I also value being grounded at home. Having a consistent, comfortable space to welcome clients is important to me, and I find joy in that routine.

4
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?

- I’ve been practicing for several years, and I’d like to continue as long as clients are finding value in what I offer. As long as I’m able to bring comfort and relaxation to people, I’ll be here doing this work.

5
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?

- My clients tell me they appreciate my intuitive approach and calming presence. I aim to create a space that’s fully theirs, where they feel they can let go and unwind. I focus on each person individually, and that personal touch is what keeps people coming back.

6
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?

- Be attentive, be present, and always listen to your clients. Technique is important, but the true essence of this work is creating a safe, comforting experience for each person. If you’re committed to that, you’ll make a difference.

7
Why did you become a Masseur?

- became a Masseur because I wanted to bring comfort and relief to people in a meaningful way. Massage is powerful—it can change someone’s mood, reduce stress, and help them feel more at home in their body. That kind of impact is what drew me in.

8
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?

- I’m passionate about woodworking and creating furniture—working with my hands in a creative, precise way is incredibly satisfying. I also cook every day, thanks to my culinary training. Cooking, like woodworking, is therapeutic for me. Both allow me to unwind, get creative, and enjoy the process of crafting something special from start to finish.

9
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?

- I want them to feel like they’ve let go of all their stress and are completely at ease. When clients leave my space, they should feel lighter, recharged, and like they’ve had an experience that’s truly for them.

10
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?

- I want clients to know that each session is customized just for them. I listen closely to their needs and take the time to make sure they feel seen and valued. It’s important to me that they feel safe, relaxed, and well taken care of.

11
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?

- Yes, but not just because of the feedback. For me, success is seeing clients leave more relaxed and renewed than when they arrived. The positive reviews and returning clients show me that I’m making a real difference, which is exactly what I aim for.

12
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!

- I remember that first client—it was both exhilarating and grounding. Right away, I felt the impact of helping someone release tension, and it confirmed for me that this was the right path. It was the beginning of a journey where my work became my passion.

13
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?

- Absolutely. There’s something powerful about this work, about the genuine connections formed and the way I get to help people find peace in their bodies. I’d miss the purpose and the sense of fulfillment it gives me.
