AwesomeMassage's Massage Interview
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Absolutely.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
If you are thinking about it...jump in. Definitely find a school and get trained. Be sure that they have a refund policy in case you realize right away it isn't for you! But just like I said above, I think most people realize right away one way or the other. In school too...you work on each other. So worst case scenario you get a massage every day!
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
This is an interesting question. Each masseur is going to be different due to their unique touch and use of whatever technique they have been trained in. Also, I feel a lot of a massage is the connection created between the therapist and the client.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Like they just experienced a little slice of Heaven.
Why did you become a Masseur?
At the jobs I had, I was spontaneously giving neck rubs to people sometimes, and just about everyone said "you should do this for a living". At first, thought "no way, I don't want to rub a whole naked body", lol! Times sure do change...lol!
