BeautifulMoments's Massage Interview
Why did you become a Masseur?
As a professional dancer with lordosis, I understand the benefits of having healing hands show my instrument intentional care and attention. I want to share the gifts of my healing hands as I’ve come to know that I enjoy seeing built up tension leave the body.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Ideally any client that contacts me will leave from their experience feeling relieved, rejuvenated and eager to book their next session.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Though training and an awareness of the human anatomy are highly valuable, I think the most important skill to make you a successful masseur is the ability to actively listen. Hearing what your client says both verbally and physically and responding accordingly.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
My experience as a professional dancer has given me insights to understanding the connections and layers of muscles of the body. My goal is to have you leaving your session feeling like your body’s been unlocked- freed from the tension caused by our habitual behaviors or movement patterns.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I am a young professional who values the process of taking care of/being cared for. It’s in my best interest to be as attentive as possible as my interactions with my clients inform the conversation my hands have with their body.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I am a foodie, a gaymer and music lover.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
Right now I only travel a couple times a year. I am definitely a homebody but am looking forward to changing that in the not so distant future.
