- Yes, I do remember my first client, I got lucky! They were great, a nice educated man with a very relaxed personality! At first, I was extremely nervous. I didn’t know what to do wasn’t sure about what I was wearing-how am I going to be able to walk in with my table and set up and not look like a fool, what if their expectations are not with mine are…I was nervous to say the least ( come to find out, it doesn’t really matter what you wear and half my clients so far tell me to leave the table in the car anyways.) I asked him what is most important to you in the massage? I remember the client said, he chooses to spend some of his time off work with one of us and all he wants is to feel attractive, feel touched, and feel good! Those were his expectations and I said I can do that!!! At the end I asked for his feedback- he replied: A little bit of advice, he said don’t second-guess yourself. If someone is willing-to pay for your service and time you you are worth it 😉
