BlondBlueEyes's Massage Interview
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
I enjoy connecting with people on a deeper level, healing, & making them feel special. I will keep doing this for a while.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I am still learning the healing arts & how to balance business & personal life. One day I will be successful if I keep working at it.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I travel as often as possible. I want to spend my life traveling the world, teaching language, and learning about new cultures.
Why did you become a Masseur?
I've been a personal trainer for several years & I enjoy it. However, my clients complained of soreness after I beat them up in the gym, so I decided to learn healing massage techniques to keep them going. They were more comfortable seeing me for bodywork because they already knew me. I then joined a prestigious massage & energy work school to educate myself in the healing arts. Now my goal is to become a master healer & bodyworker so that I can help people.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I have been doing bodywork since 2017 & graduated from massage school in 2019. I plan to continue learning & healing for the rest of my life.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I want clients to leave feeling relaxed & looser than when they came in. If you are not smiling, I did not do my job right.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I have a passion to help each client. Everyone desires to be loved, to be touched, and to feel healthy and at peace with their body.
That is my goal for every person I have on my table.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Each massage is designed around the needs of the client. I give 100% to every client. I want every client to be 100% satisfied.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
I don't believe so. Extensive training isn't as necessary as diverse training, in my opinion. Exposure to different massage styles is critical to developing your own, as you can incorporate elements from each experience where your body responds to a particular technique.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Develop Good Communication Skills: Effective communication is crucial in understanding clients' needs, preferences, and any health considerations. Listen actively and communicate clearly to ensure a positive experience for your clients.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I enjoy creating and mixing music, staying active, and seeking out the joys life has to offer. Whether I'm dancing to the rhythm or embracing new experiences, I'm always eager to fully engage in life's adventures.
