I've known Bodywerxguy for nearly 13 years. I saw an ad he had posted, right after my father passed. I contacted him, in the hopes of getting a massage, at the end of 13 hours of driving. He was able to accommodate me, easily.

He greeted me like an old friend. I was asked to sit in a comfortable chair. He brought me a glass of water and then started to chat with me about what I needed. That first massage was like any other I had ever had. Before, I had only had people pound and push on my back like they were angry. This was not the case here. He was able to isolate my problem areas and work on them without causing additional pain. I didn't know that was possible. I figured that the pounding/digging in was the only way to take care of knots. How little I knew. I learned that massage can be this pleasurable, therapeutic thing that I needed to integrate into my life, on a regular basis.

That is exactly what I did. I began to seek out Bodywerxguy's services on a regular basis. Each massage got better than the previous, as he started to learn my body and which areas were my problem areas. Sadly, when I moved away from the area, I wasn't able to continue my regular massages.

I am totally comfortable with chat during a massage. Conversation is easy and fun with Bodywerxguy. But, if you prefer silence, he is happy to accommodate.

It was through Bodywerxguy that I learned about the power of essential oils/diffusers and the importance of the right kind of visuals and music. The massage space was darker, but not dark. He would play nature videos and relaxing music, but not your typical spa music.

At times, he would do extras like a foot treatment or use of special massage implements, like stones or wooden tools.

In short, this masseur is going to make you feel better. Massage isn't just physical. It lightens your mood.
