BrendenV's Personal Masseur InterviewLast Updated: Apr 13, 16:39
- I really love rollerblading! I rollerblade all around the city to get around (way faster than the subway!) I’ve also done background work for several shows like Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, The Deuce, The Joker, etc. and hope to become a stunt-man one day!
- Advice I would give to a up an coming masseur is to read, watch, absorb & practice! Try things differently, frequently & study how to use leverage, technique & body positions to heal oneself while healing others!
- I’ve been a masseur for five years now and honestly don’t see myself stopping anytime soon! The ability to heal and provide people with a sensual transcendent experience enriches my life in a way not many other things do. I hope to do this for as long as I can!
- My ultimate goal is to make my clients feel relaxed, comfortable and uplifted. I want them to not only feel a complete release of tension, but as if they were with a long time friend! I love having conversations with new people and getting to know them. Not only does this help us work together to create the best possible experience by learning likes and dislikes, but it recharges me! The true connections I make via massage are ones that I deeply value and keep me going everyday!
- training helps but a lot of makes you good/great is personality and the ability to connect with your client and make them the focus of your time, to make them happy and satisfied. No amount of training can replace that
- I’ve been in the massage business for five wonderful years now - it has enriched my life in so many ways. Seeing the smiles on my clients faces, the pure sense of relief and bliss - that’s what makes me feel truly successful. There are clients that I’ve been seeing ever since I began massage, and knowing that they’ve been coming back to me weekly, or monthly, not only for relaxation but for great conversation - that’s all the success I need!
- I love rollerblading! Skating around the city makes me feel as free as a bird. I also love playing music. I play guitar, drums and sing. I really enjoy expressing myself and making other people happy with the shared experience. I also like drawing, painting and public outlaw art (graffiti) I would call myself a creative free spirit!
- I will continually be a student of the healing arts for life!!
- Honestly- it’s been supremely pleasurable from the first moment I decided to be a masseur & I still see my first clients to this day!!
- the one thing I think I am most proud of is feeling what is needed. That ability sets me apart because I am very empathic and I really feel what needs the most attention and at what level of [pressure so it makes for a very connected experience
- this is a simple question to answer: SATSIFIED
- I love to travel, I like everything about it. I guess I am lucky because a few of the things I do require travel, massage modeling and music take me around America and soon the world
- I give my friends massages and they always said I should do this professionally. I travel a lot so working freelance serves me and my clients well. I can be anywhere and meet new clients and meet new and interesting people. It makes me happy and satisfied to make people feel great and I love to spend some time with people and make them feel so much better with just the touch of my hands
