Brianhere's Personal Masseur InterviewLast Updated: Oct 12, 2024
- I want them to feel like they're renewed. Like after a good night's sleep.
- In fact, massage is first and foremost a practice. But you can't do it without the basics
- I don't travel often, but I love it a lot
- I've been a massage therapist for over 5 years and plan to do it until I get bored of it
- Every massage therapist has a specific technique for performing massages. It is always individualized. This is what distinguishes masseurs from each other. For example, I like to combine classical massage with deep pressure.
- Don't be afraid and go learn.
- I thought what a good fit for me since I love sports and have a good knowledge of human anatomy. I can make money and help people at the same time.
- Hiking, surfing, weightlifting, traveling or just hiking around town
- The main indicator of a good job is when the client falls asleep on the massage table. That feedback is better than anything I've ever heard.
- I have a medical degree. I'm a nurse. I liked studying and my favorite subject was human anatomy. I also like sports very much. And I have a lot of experience in training. That's probably why I wanted to get additional education as a massage therapist. I think it is a great value for the client when a masseur knows human anatomy and physiology of muscles.
- I consider myself a good massage therapist, but there is always room for growth
- Yeah, it happens. I think it happens when you love your profession. When you're doing what you're supposed to be doing.
- My first client was in a massage course. it was a man in his 50s. The task was to give a classic relaxing massage, but with a focus on the lower back, because he worked as a cab driver. The massage lasted for one hour. I was nervous for the first 10-15 minutes, then it became easier. It was as if I had caught a wave. The client even fell asleep lol
