Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
Yeah, I do remember my first client. I was nervous but the client was pretty nice with me. He made me comfortable. We talked about life, dogs, traffic, random topics.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
I think you can learn a lot when you talk with new people. Knowledge is something no one can take away from you. I would miss losing that.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I'm a very easygoing person. I like to talk about different subjects. I consider myself a funny person. I'm very spiritual and I try healing every day to become a better person for myself and for the world.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Engaging in regular physical activity can help me to stay fit and healthy.
I love to watch YouTube, read, and learn new things expanding my knowledge could be a fulfilling way to spend my time.
I do hiking, rock climbing, or even adventure sports like skydiving, and bungee jumping.
I like to socialize and build good Networking. I'm funny and smart I like challenges, strategic board games, video games, or puzzles that could provide a mentally engaging pastime.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I want to provide a calming and soothing massage experience that helps the client release tension and stress. By using techniques that promote relaxation, such as gentle strokes and rhythmic movements, I would want them to feel a sense of tranquility and ease.
Why did you become a Masseur?
I became a Masseur because I have the opportunity for a flexible career. This flexibility can be attractive to those seeking work-life balance. Becoming a Masseur can also be a journey of personal growth and development. Practitioners often develop strong communication skills, empathy, and a deeper understanding of the mind-body connection.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
It's important to note that each individual's reasons for becoming a Masseur can be unique. If you're considering it as a career its a good idea to explore your motivations and ensure that they align with the demands and rewards of the profession
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
The ability to connect with clients on an emotional level and provide a safe, empathetic environment. This enhances the overall experience for clients.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
Up to the client and demand. I prefer my studio because I have all my tools that I can't carry around.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Different massage therapists might specialize in various techniques, such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, or aromatherapy. Their expertise in a particular technique can be a distinguishing factor.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
Positive interaction and connection are important. I would want clients to feel valued and respected, ensuring that their preferences and needs are taken into consideration throughout the massage session.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I've been in RM for months but I have years of experience in massage. I want to continue leading relaxation sessions and help people discover unique sensations within themselves for a long period of time.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Yes. I consider myself successful based on the feedback I hear from clients. Most of them come back to have that moment of physical and spiritual connection again.
