CallumSawyer's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
Absolutely! I was so nervous but excited, it went way better than expected and I thoroughly enjoyed it
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Yes, I took a break for a few months and really missed it, now I'm back!
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Yes, I have repeat clients, and great feedback! In the end I know I’m successful because I continue to be booked 🙌🏻 check out my reviews
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I take this very seriously and do it for a variety of reasons but not the typical reasons. I do this because I really believe this work is important, I value the connection with others, I enjoy the artwork of it, and I believe that the safe space to explore male connection is critical for mental health. That is why you'll find that my experience is different and you'll walk away with a great connection and want to come back. Also you’ll find that I have boundaries and respect myself and my clients.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Like they want to book it right away again! Safe, comforted, relaxed, relieved, and surprised!
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Working out, travel, time with friends and family, mixology!
Why did you become a Masseur?
Also looking for side hustles and I love this work truly! I think it’s satisfying and rewarding for my clients and me
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Make sure you’re doing it for the right reasons and make sure you provide your clients with what it is that they are looking for. I think many men who do this are looking for a quick buck and I find that disrespectful.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
The entire experience is different from the time that you read my profile to texting me to booking the appointment to the actual touch. I am someone who takes this very serious and you can tell a professional in my daily life and my side hustle and I will take my interaction you serious.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I have been studying Massage for a while and been an avid fan of Massage for a long time, but actively providing massage for over a year
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I travel as often as I can
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
It is important to be aware of certain things when you’re giving a massage and I believe this comes naturally to some and not to others. Extensive training may be required for some and for some not so much.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I want my clients to feel relaxed refreshed every rejuvenated. I want them to feel like they were the most important part of that time that they were with me. I would like them to feel like they have a connection with me and that they were appreciated and validated during that time. I hope that they would want to book with me again soon.
