DJWorld's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
My first client was a good friend. He had stiff and sore shoulders all the time. After returning to me several times for his self care, he said he noticed a major release of built up tension. Told me it was like I knew what his body needed. I never charged him, because I was being a good friend. He paid me one day and said my hands were too good to be empty. It was at that point, that I knew I would continue this!
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Wouldn’t be anything to miss, because it’s something I’ll always utilize. Addictive? Haha, in many ways.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I would consider myself a successful masseur, because I have a genuine approach. Yeah money is good, but I want my clients to truly feel the passion behind my work. The kind of passionate touch that makes your toes curls and set the mind at ease.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Like a hippie in the 60s
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I’m an excellent cook, poet, and dancer.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
To make it a fun experience, whatever that means to each individual. If you’re bored, you will give a meaningless and non passionate massage.
