DaddiesToyBoy's Massage Interview
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Yes I would but I am a people person and I love connecting with new people.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I do, although being a masseur is not my main thing if you know what I mean (wink, wink)
Why did you become a Masseur?
First it was out of necessity and then it became who I am.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Only do it if your heart is in it and you can show the care and support the needs of your clients.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I love to travel and I am always on the road
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Not necessarily, I am not trained but I understand that the experience is a combination of things.
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I remember my first client. I didn't have anyone explain to me what would occur but my first client was amazing i told him it was my first time because I like to be transparent. He became my instructor that day and we had a ton of fun in a meeting that was supposed to be 1 hour it turned into 3 hours. I didn't expect him to pay seeing as he was teaching me but he did and he tipped me. I knew then I wanted to do this as my job.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I am intuitive so I know if something is wrong because I look past the surface of things. I am more of a therapist than a masseur in a way. We all are searching for 1 thing in life, connection..
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I want every person to feel valued, relaxed, energized, appreciated, and accomplished. We may say im here for this reason or that reason but at the core we reach out to others because we want connection. Even if its a hour massage and relaxing with someone we are here for 1 reason and thats what every human wants.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Fishing, work on vehicles, football
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
my ability to make everyone feel comfortable and safe
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
5 years and I will continue until my company I started and built alone finds its success.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I want my clients to feel renewed
