DaddyRetreat's Personal Masseur InterviewLast Updated: May 05, 2018
- Like they can't wait to come back! Also I want them to feel that it was the best massage they have gotten.
- I travel when I can. I have been to various countries and plan to visit more. I love travel, but wish I had time to do it more often.
- Make sure that you are always client centered, listen to them and make the session all about them. Have great intention with your touch and they will appreciate it. Go to a good massage school so you know what to do and how to be safe.
- It was 3rd semester clinic in massage school, we each got 1 person to work with over 10 sessions. Each person had a condition, and we had to plan it out with regards to healing. At the end the client was so thankful and got me a pine cone which I still have 11 years later. It was a sentimental gift and was from the heart. Wonderful start into the world of healing.
- weightlifting, martial arts, anime, reading, movies/shows and recently acro yoga. I also love going to kink/play parties.
- totally balanced, blissful and satisfied. I want them to walk out better then when they walked into my space.
- I'm very open and honest. I'm a huge supporter of inclusiveness, consent, body and sex positivity. I feel that my energy is very calming and people really gravitate to it and feel at ease with me. My friendliness along with my own brand of weird I guess would be something that a lot seem to really enjoy. I'm also a hybrid jock/nerd so we can talk about sports and the new marvel movie in the same session.
- I really would. For me I really enjoy what my craft means to people. I would also miss the interactions and connectivity that touch brings.
- 11 years and I see at least another 13 years in me before I transition fully into teaching the craft and the events I run for my business and all male group Daddy Retreat.
- I believe in any craft training is essential to give a well rounded session, especially if the client has a problem that needs fixing. Natural skill and great touch are important but without knowledge you can only do so much.
- The level of expertise, actual licensure and schooling, that i have worked very hard to attain. My 10 plus years of experience, worked in top luxury spa in nyc and physical therapy office. I know both what to do with a body but also have the master level knowledge and time in the craft to heal it. In addition to the body knowledge I also give 100% each time as well as add a variety of modalities to create a custom experience that you won't find elsewhere. I also sometimes sing during a session, though i try my best not to butcher the song 😜
- I really enjoy touch and making people feel great. I started in personal training and love the human body, how it works and how to heal it. I enjoy the connections I make and help bringing healing and joy to my clients. For me my work is a pleasure and I love my craft and career I have.
- Yes, I have been doing massage for over 10 years, opened up a professional studio in Manhattan in a great location and tend to be booked up on a weekly basis. A lot of my clients become repeats and have been seeing me for years and refer me to friends. Also I define success by being consistent in the high end treatments I give and the 100% effort I put into my time with clients.
