David_LA's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I still remember my first client! I was a bit nervous but excited to help someone relax! it all came naturally I would say and I just made sure to treat the client the way I would want to be treated and better!
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
I would! I think even when I am doing other stuff I still think of when I am massaging and the peace that it brings me while i'm doing it and the peace it brings clients
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I do! I pride myself in making sure the client is happy and I am proud of the repeat clientele that I have built as long as the reviews and feedback of clients overtime
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I would like them to know that I am kind, caring, strong, confident, and live by the motto of treating others the way I would want to be treated
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I want the client to leave relaxed, relieved, and like they are ready to start/continue their day with a fresh look and feel
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I love traveling, going out to eat, hiking, running, listening to music, and watching movies/tv
Why did you become a Masseur?
i felt like it was a good way to channel my energy and help others feel good!
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
I would tell them to only do it if it's something that you really want to and are passionate about and only do it when you feel like you can give your all.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
my ability to feel other peoples energy and make them feel comfortable and relaxed whether it's their first or 100th time
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I have been doing this for a few years and I want to continue doing it for as long as I can
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I travel very often. I travel about at least once or twice a month
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
I don't think it is necessary. you can learn a lot by practicing, studying, learning, and more, but ultimately you can alter massage to clients needs and over time learn to be even better.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I want them to feel like they were in safe, comfortable, clean environment. and like their time was valued and they were treated greatly.
