Depends what they ask me π . I've been in the field for about 16 years now and I think I was able to make many people live a bit better in various ways.
Making honest living so I'll say generally so yes.
Why did you become a Masseur?
Since it was a young boy, I discovered that I enjoy it like touch. It started with animals and then later on neighbors and they just naturally went to the place that I end up studying it and making it the main part of mylife/ living
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I think most feel very well. Happy and floaty. Summer recommended to take some time before driving π it's deeply satisfying to see the difference of before and after
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
It's a difficult question because success can be evaluate it in the various ways. If you just give touch for relaxation and experience then possibly not. But if you trying to help with more medical conditions, injuries and other issues, the very least you need to do extensive research and a lot of onhand experience. So it is better to have training. It can be quite important to receive massages yourself as well to learn how it feels or what things you like more than less and understand the experience from the other side π
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
Well think about my first client as a cat that I used to pet when I was about 3 years old so I remember here a bit π.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Yes, some aspects are absolutely wonderful but is also the management of time and the difficulties of being independent with no vacation days well it's a has a potential to be rewarding and satisfying. It also come with some challenges. Being new to New York I've discovered that some people make appointments and not show up. No shows they call them. That can be quite challenging and for no obvious reason after confirming and asking for letting me know if there's any changes.
So yes it is great as well. It can be challenging and frustrating
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
Being a massage therapist was chosen for me as as much as I chose it. Touch is a thing of art feeling sensations, understanding and connection. And I think I am quite artful in what I do that is material power connection through touch. It is a beautiful communication in a way a dance. One is to experience to understand βΊοΈπ
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I really enjoy cooking, taking walks, people watching, spending time on the computer, and I absolutely love nature and animals
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I usually travel for meditation, retreats, etc generally. So I think I'm more of a homebody at the moment. But if there are things of interest I enjoy traveling as well
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
It's been over 16 years but probably longer depend how you look at it. I'm not sure how long as long as I enjoy it and it works for me. I will continue and if the time comes I'll find something else.
