Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
Ive been massaging every since I was a kid! literarily, and when people knew I was good at it, they would always bug me for one,
in my late teens I took some training to master the art, and decided to turn it to a profession, My first client was interesting, (I was actually tired in the first 20 mins! cos I had never don't a full body massage, he was patient and understanding. Fast forward 6 years later, and I'm proud to say I have a steady repeat client base that keep returning.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Nope, nothing last forerver, so when its time to move on, it will be a naturally transition. I will reminisce once a while of some interesting clients that I've met over the years. But that's what makes life interesting!
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Yes.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I love people watching!
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Its all about the client. And I want them to leave, feeling like they need to return for another session!
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I read lots; Zen books, biopics junkie, swim, create music
Why did you become a Masseur?
To make money on the side ofcourse! and the thrill of the variety of experience that comes with it.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Have an open mind, and a LOT OF PATIENCE, and just sheer love of people
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I don't know,I don't believe in competition, I just do me.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
7 years
; probably another 1 year
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I focus soley on outcalls now within the Vancouver area,
but don't travel out of town. that my change depending on the situation.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
No
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
Refreshed, and wanting more.
