What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?

I love to exercise! I take classes similar to Crossfit three to four times a week, gym almost everyday and then I stretch it out in yoga at least three times a week. When I'm not exercising I can generally be found in coffee shops working on a book I am writing or hanging with friends.

Why did you become a Masseur?

I was working a stressful job in finance and was ready for a change. I had been trained in massage a few years ago when living in the UK. It was a natural choice for me. In fact, it was the best decision I could have made. I now get to stay home, listen to awesome music and love on people 6 hours a day! I don't even have to put my clothes on :-)

How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?

I do enjoy traveling. For the most part I split my time between my DC studio, my home in Santa Fe or visiting my folks in the UK.

How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?

Blissful, relaxed and with a big smile on their face!

Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?

Yes, especially if you want people to come back. Good looks and a smile can only take you so far when a client is hoping for some quality bodywork.

How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?

I have been a masseur for over 8 years and expect to continue for a while longer...

Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?

Yes, I have consistently maintained a full schedule for the past 8 years!

Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?

Yes, I would definitely miss it!
