Eddibul's Personal Masseur InterviewLast Updated: Jan 09, 2023
- I like to think the first time people are overwhelmed with the experience and feel like they just got the massage of their life. Return clients are fully satisfied every time.
- Yes...and no. I think the best thing for a Masseur is the willingness to improve and learn. Training sometimes can send you down a path that may hinder you as you are forced to perform a certain way instead of letting the natural instincts to play into the massage.
- After 32 years, and truthfully only one person saying they did not like my massage, I consider that a very successful career in LMT. Recently our of retirement as I just miss it.
- The day after I graduated Massage school. I was so excited that he wanted me to massage him. I was nervous but right away I could tell I was listening to him and his body, and gave him what he needed. I was young and inexperienced but I still feel the same way about getting a client. I love doing it.
- I was born with a deformed vertebrae and had cronic back pain. I started learning massage to help relieve that, but also so people with back pain could have some relief
- Each individual comes with a different purpose in mind. How do I want you to feel? Like you had an experience that was built just for you. Relaxed, and ready to take on the days and weeks to come with greater intent.
- I am an artist and I design about three tshirts per week. I am also a community builder and love to get new people connected into the gay community here.
- Learn, feel, listen. There are many ways to listen. With your ears, listen to what your client says, Listen to his breathing, and the sounds he makes. Also feel and listen o the body, as Kahi Hamo brings me super close to the body with ultimate contact I can hear the body and how it is reacting t the pressure and massage. Listen with your hands and body, even without the awareness of the client, yu can hear his body speak. Massage is not about rubbing, it is about interaction.
- Technically I practiced 28 years first being licensed in 1990. I did my first massage in 1984. I loved it since.
I tired to retire and did not like it.
- I love to travel and travel as much as possible. Twice a year over seas
- My methods and modules are NOTHING like anyone else you will ever get massaged from. It took 4 years of intensive hands on training with the Master Lee, from Hawaii. He has passed on now and only was able to certify and teach four people in the US to do Kahi Hamo. I can proudly say I have never had so someone say they did not like my massage. You will feel the difference fin the first few minutes, and for hours and days after.
- I think the the one thing my clients all agree about me is how nice and welcoming I am. Doesn't matter your size, shape or color. You are welcome at my place and on my table and I will make you feel that way.
- Funny to ask this. I did massage for 28 years and decided to stop. In the threee years of retirement from massage I missed it a lot. I did pick the right time to take a break as Covid hit soon after. Now, I am back and ready to see clients again. Missed you all.
