EdgarMT's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
My first client was a life changing experience. Hence I decided to make a career journey out of it. The way the energy was flowing during the session was so unique and I was able to help my client in so many different ways. By the end of the session my client felt completely stress free and even healed. Those words were the ones that pushed me into making this a profession to practice and perfection by learning new techniques and ways to release stress and make others feel more than perfect.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Totally. I enjoy every session. The fact that I can witness how a client comes in with a certain type of energy, usually exhausted and stressed and leaves my studio feeling at ease and relieved makes me feel great and gives me the feeling of being able to help others by just the talent of the touch
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I do, having repeated clients. And not depending on one simple platform to be talked about gives me a sense of self satisfaction and achievement that words can’t easily describe.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Like a few clients already expressed: “like walking on clouds.”
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Workout is my passion. Dancing and sharing my energy with a crowd.
Why did you become a Masseur?
Given my experience working in a spa and by realizing I can help people by the manipulation of energy and touch
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
