ExclusiveTouch's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I don't remember my first client but I know why I got into massage therapy. I always remembered as a kid that my parents loved me but I don't think I received enough affection or touch. In today's modern society touch is important to connect with each other. It creates a warm environment for each of us and a sense of community and belonging. I want to create this feeling for each one of my clients.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Totally! I have a degree in business management and have been through many customer service/hospitality industry jobs. Massage therapy is unique, its personal, it's an awareness to care for people and create a healing experience.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
My clients don't just come back for my handsome smile! I am passionate about Massage therapy therefore I excel. I am always learning new techniques. Having worked on over 8,000 clients I would say I have an advanced skill at knowing how to listen to my clients and giving them what they want.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
Massage therapy is not what defines me but shapes who I can become, a caring compassionate part of someone's overall well being.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Like every demand was met and exceed the expectations! Just read my reviews!
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Coming from Long Island I love being at the beach/pool, bike riding, working out, playing the piano, reading a number of books, socializing with new people and sharing my talents with others!
Why did you become a Masseur?
Answered in first question. But touch is a powerful tool. We all need to feel connected and cared for. I provide this for my clients!
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Make sure your intentions for becoming a masseur are in line with who you want to be and where you want to go. It can be a tough business and sometimes both physically and emotionally draining. With a strong commitment and healthy attitude Massage therapy has so many options available to care for someone else.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
When it comes down to it, it's all personal preference and attention to detail. Where I am strongest suited is by listening to my clients needs, having an awareness of their body and a desire to want to make that person feel better as soon as they get on my table!
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
12 years now! Since 2011. I will continue to expand my knowledge and experience as long as there is a demand.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I travel often. I love West Hollywood and what it has to offer but I also have a strong desire for adventure
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Yes. Anyone can rub or touch you. Knowledge and experience are essential for success
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I want the client to feel like I've given them what they wanted. Whether it be relaxed, soreness reduced, or just a peaceful happiness. Whatever they want is what I want too!
