This is my fourth or fifth session with Drake, in the past couple months. My take on his massage is in my previous review and it is definitely 5-star, all the way. With this session, basically a treat as we head into Thanksgiving week, I can now comment on Drake himself. Along with his incredibly personable approach I today was struck by his appearance. All prior sessions were mostly with my eyes closed. Today, I opened my eyes throughout, got to see and it was a very nice addition to the sumptuous service that Drake provides. Never one to be judgmental about ‘body-types’, I am struck by just how totally ‘jacked’ this man is. If you are a fan of muscular men Drake is absolutely your guy. As a thin guy myself, it was a treat to watch Drake intensely apply his body pressure, in a sweeping motion, as he provided my thorough but basic massage. This was a tune-up needed to prepare for the days ahead and having the ‘visual’ only served to amplify the effectiveness of the treatment. Was great to see a sportily attired muscleman tending to my body. As stated before, my intent is to set an every 2 week routine to maintain with Drake. I do however believe that I will return next week as a ‘special holiday treat’.
Run, don’t walk, if you want a very good, attentive massage that may also afford a nice bit of ‘eye-candy’, if you open your eyes.

What an amazing and fantastic experience! I had a very relaxing and stimulating massage from a very sweet, kind, and easy going professional person. He was very thorough and detailed. A real gentleman before, during, and after. I really enjoyed our conversations, he made me feel more relaxed and at ease with myself and with him. I was very comfortable and very happy with the overall session. His hands and techniques were very thorough and rejuvenating. A Top notch and first class quality session. His place was very clean and welcoming. The ambience was very soothing, peaceful and calming.

I highly recommend to anyone looking for a well worth and professional experience. He was very easy to book and very accommodating. I am most definitely looking forward to coming back from my out of town work to see him in December. Drake you are nothing short of an awesome masseuse and an even better person! This is my third session over about 5/6-weeks with Drake. If you happen to have seen my prior reviews you will read of how I have been taken with his expertise, relaxing environment and his ‘mastery’ towards therapeutic needs. You may read also of my desire to learn more of what he may offer, over time. As comfortable as I already am, I am willing to ‘go-to-Drake’ and consider him part of my Bodily Wellness Team.
Today’s session was of shorter duration than my usual couple hour, just 1 hour, but was still more exploratory in nature.
Along with the standard massage (this time abbreviated due to my schedule) we approached some reflexology which I had never experienced.
Drake first described what the impact might be, in a very plain, not condescending and fully understandable layman’s manner. Boy was I again impressed. Who knew that manipulation of feet can ease back and shoulder pain? Surely I didn’t. We spent more than a third of the time on this as it was integrated with calves, which also helped to alleviate some back discomfort, that I was facing. This too was at Drake’s suggestion.
Getting near to the point of trust and being totally comfortable with Drake, he has suggested that we try next ‘trigger-point’ manipulation, which is why my Doctor has suggested massage. I was too tender previously but feel the bold of relief, probably because of my extended periodic sessions with Drake.
I am hopeful to get in next week and as I increasingly feel the benefit as well as the enjoyment of Drake’s knowledgeable presence, I believe that I may go to an every 10-day schedule as opposed to the intended once every 2 weeks that was recommended.
Like I have said before guys: Drake seems to know a phenomenal amount about the male physiology. He truly has broached areas that even my Doctor has missed. He should totally be more than an idle consideration for your physical self care or even just at times that you are in need of an engaging bodily treat.

5-Stars and stay tuned…

These are my impressions of my second occurrence with Drake. My first was about 10 days ago and based upon the success of that session he and I are looking to identify a comfortable recurring sequence to suit my needs. In doing so I am discovering the vast set of skills and expertise that he ‘literally’ brings to the table.
As a reminder or for anyone considering: I am a very thin built mature male with back, trigger point and neurological issues, who was initially looking for Doctor recommended therapeutic massage. With that said, I am growing to learn that Drake is equipped to customize any session and has the tempered wherewithal to do so without judgement nor fail. He seems to smoothly transition over the areas of my body that are sensitive while he also provides the most soothing approaches to the areas that can handle a stronger touch. This session we went a bit further than the initial session and incorporated a stretching technique (that we got to a comfortable level) as well as a ‘hot-stone’ technique that while initially was slightly uncomfortable was masterfully adapted to a level that was both comfortable while also somewhat pleasurable. Lastly, what I am increasingly finding most satisfying is his level of feedback and acceptance. Some methodologies were too much for me and he knowingly backed off and proceeded with a different approach. Very satisfying.
To close this out I want to finalize with 2 points that I, personally, find remarkable. Drake’s professional desire to please his clients is so very apparent as he does definitely listen, when needed, and amend to the needs of the client (me) while he also does not shy away from recommendations of bodywork techniques that I (client) was never aware of. All of this he provided without being pompous nor arrogant, moreso he was just offering satisfying alternatives. My history is of over 25 years of receiving massage (from 4 steady masseurs) yet I have never encountered this level of ‘openness’, even through menu-based national chains who supposedly offer it all.
Lastly, in my case, I will need (from Doctor’s recommendation) other care that I had imagined would require ‘other’ practitioners. What I am beginning to understand is that his knowledge extends far beyond simple massage, which was my initial intent. In near future, he and I will attempt sessions where we can discuss nutrition (to reduce joint inflammation), further stretching (for flexibility), as well as minor strengthening exercises to further enhance my wellness journey, after multiple health issues.
I would say to anyone considering a session with Drake: whether it to be gifted to someone or experienced yourself as a body treat, a needed mind/body centering, zen-like relaxation or even therapeutic (like myself) that it is absolutely worth the investment. We only live once and it is always important to do all that we can to attempt to reach the best of what we can be.
For those who are already enamored with his approach I would recommend that you investigate other services that Drake can possibly provide.
He is trustworthy, kind and definitely knows his field.

First Session was treated as an ‘introductory session’.
Here is my take:
What can one say about an ‘answered prayer’? I have been looking for over a year for 1 legitimate and knowledge practitioner for ongoing massage. I have lower back issues and am a late fifties male. Having tried a couple guys, since my 8-year masseuse moved, I found Drake and figured I would give it a shot. I found Drake to be exceptionally personable from the point of intake through the full 2-hours. His attentiveness was exemplified through his gaining a full understanding, prior, during my intake discussion and the feedback was shared throughout. The identified areas that even my Doctors hadn’t and made some suggestions that we will try at my next session. I do intend more and will pick up my twice monthly sessions, with him. He remained fully professional, sensitive and personable during our entire 2 hours thereby gaining both my trust as well as my full faith in his abilities. I would definitely encourage anyone who needs therapeutic, a ‘Zen-State’ tuneup or us thinking of gifting a massage to seriously consider Drake as he is definitely a BodyWork dynamo on not at all as intimidating as his biceps. On that note, I found that Drake is a 100% solidly muscled Man whose craft is undoubtedly inherent as he oozes bodily fitness through both his physique, forward thinking manner and direct encouragement. Lastly, as I left I realized that I had never experienced such a clean, well organized nor private/discreet massage environment. Recognizing that all of the above is exactly what I have been awaiting the decision was made to follow up with him in 10 days. My hunch would be that anyone experiencing my session today would be similarly inclined. BodyByDrake is a treasure

Another amazing massage from Drake today! I would highly recommend him to anyone. I was having some pain in my upper back and neck and the pain is completely gone now. He is highly skilled in his craft and very knowledgeable with what he’s doing. I stay impressed by his welcoming demeanor and how easy he is to be relaxed with. As I’ve said in my previous post he definitely deserves 10 stars. Five stars don’t do him justice. Thanks again Drake! Definitely looking forward to my next visit.

I am an underground miner and was in desperate need of a massage. I did my research and found Drakes page. From beginning to finish Drake was awesome. He is highly skilled in his field and is worth every penny. I was extremely impressed with his knowledge and how attentive he is during the session with the level of pressure. The strength he has in his hands is amazing. The studio was very clean and peaceful. I left feeling more relaxed than I have in a very long time and am definitely looking forward to my next visit. Recently had my first massage with Drake, and I will definitely return. I've had some quality massages before and I can promise you'll leave feeling relaxed and energized. Drake was able to find spots where I didn't realize I was holding tension. He is, as promised in other reviews, incredibly professional, knowledgable and kind. It was worth every penny, and I will definitely be back. Also, he's in amazing shape and great looking.

Hands down, the best massage I've ever experienced. Drake is very friendly and communicates clearly. I left with some education on stretching so even learned something while I was there.

His space is clean, tranquil and most importantly, I felt safe being there. He has incredibly strong hands and I left feeling unbelievably refreshed.

Very prompt, very polite, and courteous. Before starting his routine, he asked what type of pressure I wanted, & his performance throughout the session was very professional. When he went to a different part of the body, he asked was the pressure OK, before proceeding with his massage routine. When it was over, he asked was the massage OK & ask did I need any additional attention to any body parts before he conclude. Overall, his massage was excellent, and he is very good looking! Definitely will be scheduling again.

I was visiting Pittsburg and had a limited window for a massage. I reached out to Drake and he responded quickly and let me know that he had a last-minute availability. He phoned and we discussed specifics and I was quickly on my way to his studio.

His place is a quick ride from downtown and the studio is clean, quiet, and calm. As others have mentioned, Drake’s photos do not adequately convey the mountain of muscle that will greet you at the door. He immediately put me at ease and we discussed my specific focus areas. Due to my schedule, we were on a bit of a tight timeline, so Drake was very helpful in suggesting a massage plan that worked for me.

I travel extensively and have had many massages, especially from bodybuilders that are just getting by on their looks without the knowledge and talent to back it up. THIS IS NOT THAT KIND OF A MASSAGE!

I will definitely be back upon my return to Pittsburgh!

My session with Drake was amazing from the start. He communicated up front what methods he used and asked about my comfort level with different techniques. Nothing ever felt rushed and he checked in along the way to see if any adjustments were needed. I’ve had a lot of massages and could tell he was listening to both me and my body.

As soon as you get started with a session with Drake it’s apparent that he knows what he’s doing and has a real passion it. With his bodybuilder physique it would be easy for him to coast and give a sub-par massage like many unfortunately do on this website, however Drake makes sure to personalize every session for each client with his extensive understanding of the male body and how to massage each muscle group. Drake brings a level of professionalism and respectfulness that is rare to see and it didn’t take long into the massage before I realized I’d become a repeat customer.

Sometime around the end of August in 2022 I visited Drake for the very first time, and posted a review here in September. Now in August 2023 I'm posting a review again which I should have done long ago. I have become a regular client of his, visiting him almost every week since that first time.
I've come to value him not only as a skillful masseuse, but as a knowledgeable and wise human being. I recognized a need in myself not to just receive a good massage, but one that was therapeutic as well. Plagued by scoliosis and pained by lumbar and foot pain, Drake's knowledge of the body, it's muscular structure, and what he could do over time to not only relieve my pain but to bring about healing has become invaluable to me!
Arriving at his studio, you are not only greeted by this handsome guy with an incredible physique. You are met with someone who will to the best of his ability make you feel not only at ease, but that your need for an exquisite massage will be met. I have visited him time and time again not only because I continue to heal, but because your needs are of utmost importance to this good hearted soul. I look forward to every visit. If you have the opportunity, you should schedule a massage with him too ~ you'll be glad you did!
