FrankieCuddles's Massage Interview
Why did you become a Masseur?
I truly love massage and was getting massages regularly I noticed some were better than others . I got certified because I wanted to be able to give you best massage expirence you’ve ever had, the type I would want if I was on the massage table . Honestly massages are very healing and intentionally connecting physically with another man is so important for overall health . I’ve been given a gift of strong intuitive hands. I love what I do and I want to give you a massage to remember
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
I think that experience is the greatest teacher . I have been doing bodywork and massages for over 10 years. My background and teacher training in yoga was a great foundation for learning physical anatomy, I’m trained in myofacial release, that is the connective tissue between the Muscle and it’s very important to keep that flexible. I work with athletes and bodybuilders to keep them healthy and moving freely. I’ve been certified in Thai yoga massage and have incorporated the best of those techniques to help you stretch those hard to reach places and do some hands on healing.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
My advice is to get a lot of massages from different people that way you’ll be able to use sample of the variety of different techniques and decide on what works best for you. Offer to trade with other massage therapists so that you can sample all of their techniques and don’t be afraid to ask them any questions that you might now. Get certified if you can and treat each client with respect.
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
Yes I remember because my first client was my Dad , he was the coach and used to give the guys rub downs after practice. He was a trained massuer too and He taught me by working on me and allowing me to work on him .
I found that I had a real talent for massage. I practiced on friends and partners until I decided that this was a gift I wanted to share with the world. So by the time I got to work on my first professional client I wasn’t worried because I was expirenced .Afterwards the client said “Wow ,That was the best massage I’ve ever had.” and that made me very happy
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I’ve done a lot of traveling, it’s an important way to learn about the world. my parents are European from Scotland and we used to live in New Zealand . I still have relatives and family and friends In Europe and I love adventures and planning visits I try to travel often with small trips every other month and a big vacation once a year . Some cities I love are Berlin Paris, London, Prague Madrid and Istanbul. I’ve love the South Pacific and have been to Tahiti, Fiji and Hawaii. But even though I love to travel I have a wonderful home with a warm friendly energy to come home too . I enjoy a nice evening at home cooking dinner , watching a movie and cuddling.
