GQDaddy's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
Many years ago I did a Body Electric Workshop with Joseph Kramer in Los Angeles and have done much work with that group since. My first client was in San Francisco and it was a beautiful experience.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Yes, I would. Connecting with men on this body to body level, using sound, breath and meeting sensations; providing intimacy and connection for an energy flow between us, an integration of erotic and ecstatic energy in connection with soul and spirit is the greatest joy of my life. For centuries many men have been shamed for certain desires. I am deeply committed to using Tantra to free men from this shame and allow them to fully experience their erotic selves through spiritual enlightenment. Seeing the fulfillment of this freedom in my client's lives is deeply satisfying.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Yes, I do consider myself to be a successful Masseur. My practice keeps me busy and the connection with my clients is true and satisfying and I have a great many repeat clients.
While I consider myself successful, I continue to learn through classes, workshops and retreats to improve my skills and tools to bring even better experiences to my clients each and every time they see me.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
It gives me great physical and spiritual pleasure to work body to body with men.
Prior to bodywork, I was a theatre professional working as a producer, director and actor in theatre.
Doing this healing and connecting with men feels like a deep connection with my true essence and I'm grateful to my clients for the opportunity they bring me to connect with them on this deep level.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Relaxed and rejuvenated with a wholeness in the male self. Hopefully he will experience the movement of erotic and ecstatic energy through his whole body and perhaps a release of any fear, guilt or shame he might be holding in order to fully experience the joy and pleasure of sensations his body can provide.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I read, I love theatre and music. I love spending as much time as possible being naked!
Why did you become a Masseur?
This is my essence, to be with men in this capacity, to bring healing and pleasure through touch.
It is my firm conviction that Tantra can change the world one person at a time, even if only for a short while...
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Let go and listen to your inner voice. This kind of healing is good for us all. If it’s something you feel is calling you. Follow that call if you can
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
Being older I have many experiences that I bring with me. However we are all healers with unique abilities.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I’d like to continue for the rest of my life. I started almost forty years ago but another career took me away for quite awhile. It’s good to be back and after a little over two years as a masseur in Palm Springs, I'm feeling great about this and how men respond to my abilities.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
While I’m more of a homebody and love being here in the desert and meeting all the people who come here, I do like to travel and recently spent the summer on the big island of Hawaii and provided my services in Hilo and Kona. It was a great experience which will definitely happen again.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
It’s important - while an innate sense is also good to get one inspired. I continue my training on an ongoing basis so that I can always be the best I can possibly be for my clients.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
Transformed in some way. Knowing that connecting man to man through bodywork is healing and an important part of who we are. Men need to connect this way. It is my intention that there is some healing from each session, whether that be physical, s**ual, emotional, psychological or spiritual healing. I also want my clients to experience love for themselves on a deep level and, of course, deep pleasure and relaxation.
