Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
Yes. He is one of my best friends to this day. Love the guy. I was giving a friend a neck rub and he told me if I don’t stop he would purchase my gas for the week. I knew I had something special as he never wanted to spend money. It was eye-opening experience that I’ll never forget
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Yes.
Give me some of the ability to feel better than they did before is just so gratifying it makes me happy when others are so this is something I would definitely miss if I was to move on to something else Ive left it for other things. But have always come back to it. It’s very special
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I’ve had Cleint’s that came to me when I was in Chicago look me up when the come to California. . And I’ve been here for many years. I’ll let that be the answer. I simply love what I do
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I believe in magic. I think there is a way to allow things into your life if you are open. I’ve been able to manifest things almost instantly. And get to places I’d never thought I would see this life time and I’m still on the younger side. Manifestations are very real for me.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Refreshed, relieved. And available for the best version of themselves. This would bring me great joy to know.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Hiking. Finding unique places to eat. Singing. And dancing. I to travel and I’m also discovering that I’m more of a nudest. Love myself a good nude beach.
Why did you become a Masseur?
Giving massage is an art form. This work allows me to express my creative side and give people the space to heal. To combine these things while sharing the gift of a refreshing massage is why I’m here in this space.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Be kind and loving. When people reach you even if they have a hard shell on they are looming for a supportive touch. This is where you can show up for this special gift. Never forget how unique what you are providing is to the world. Touch is amazing.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I have an intuitive approach. I’m focused on what each individual’s needs are. As they shift each time I see my Cleint’s I creat space for this. I won’t over look what your body is asking me for. You are unique and you deserve a treatment that reflects this.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
13 years. Until my body tells me that I need to let it go. It can be hard work but I’m here for the challenge. And when I practice correctly I can leave a session feeing energized
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I prefer to take clients in my studio. I have a great set up. And it’s just for massage. I rent out a private space. Separate from my home. So when I show up. I’m cleared to be a masseur
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
I think so. The training I have received has helped me understand the body in a unique way. Keeping my Cleint’s from sub par work. And slowing them safety from injury.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
Refreshed. And renewed. Having a new clarity of the path they are on. We are in this together. So making society a better place is my goal when someone leaves my table
