HairyMasseurXX's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
Actually I do. It was an incall massage session in May 2019 in Atlanta. I don’t think my place was ready then for a massage session as I didn’t have a massage table. I did the massage on bed but the client was very understanding. I remember I was a bit nervous but I made sure to give my client the best I was able to give back then
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
I don’t think I will ever stop being a masseur. I genuinely love what I do. Even if I stop doing it as a daily job, I know I will be giving massages every now and then to close friends and family members. It is in my blood at this point .. lol
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I do. I always think the best way to tell how successful you are as a masseur is the growing rate of your returning clients. If the same clients keep coming back to you (and not anyone else) for the same massage, then you are doing something right. There are a lot of great masseurs in every city, so having returning clients is a great indicator of your success.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I am not that old, but I have been through a lot and I was lucky to live in few very different places around the globe. I think that is why I can easily connect with new people I meet daily and relate to different situations.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Very relaxed , very satisfied and with a smile in his face thinking that he made a great decision booking with me. I would like my client to think that this was so worth it. It was worth his time and money and when should I come back and see this guy again .. lol
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Cooking, movies, biking, swimming, hiking, visiting new places. Did I say cooking and movies ?
Why did you become a Masseur?
It started when I used get regular massages (I still do) and started thinking why don’t I -and my partner at the time- start learning how to do this so we can massage each other on a weekly basis. One of my best friends is a masseur, so he taught us some basics and we started doing that as a fun relaxing activity at the end of the week. I found myself really enjoying it so I decided to learn how to do it professionally. The next step was to entill in a massage therapy program at CCP (Community College of Philadelphia) which is a very extensive program. 604 class room hours and 46 clinic hours .. and here I am now. I do it for a living.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Do it the right way and your options to get professionally trained and certified
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
Hmmm .. I would say my passion for this profession. I really love what I do for a living. The idea that I could be helping other gay men makes me just happy. The most rewarding part of being a massage therapist is helping those in pain, recovering from injury, or suffering from stress
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
It has been 5 years .. I don’t know when I will stop. I hope never.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I am a traveler and to get to travel for work is another advantage of being a masseur
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Absolutely.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
Someone once told as they were leaving my place after a 90 mins massage. “I feel like I’m walking on clouds” .. so that .. I would like all my clients to feel that :)
