HealingEnergy's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I love making others feel good. My first massage confirmed to me that this is what I should be doing.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
I would really miss my work. Sometimes, a 60 or 90 minute massage is someone’s only break from their busy life. It brings me joy to make this break as enjoyable as possible for my clients.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Absolutely. The best feedback I get from all my clients is how comfortable I made them feel. I love this!!!
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
My mission is to help others realize that we are all beautiful! I recently published my 2nd book which deals with internal beauty!
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I want them to feel relaxed, refreshed and connected. Touch and vulnerability combined create an amazing experience.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I enjoy cooking, working out, and spending time with friends. I am also a life coach and love helping others navigate creating the life that they have always wanted.
Why did you become a Masseur?
I cut hair for 20 years and genuinely know that power of our touch. I wanted to elevate my opportunity to touch by providing massage services.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Just go for it! I thought about it for a long time and once I started it, I wished I had started it sooner! It’s truly amazing!
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I am in tune with clients energy and many times the massage becomes much more than touch. It’s an opportunity to gain confidence and comfortability in our true self.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I have been massaging as a hobby for over 5 years and decided to make it my business recently.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I would say that I am 50/50 on this answer. It’s always fun to check out new cities, but there’s nothing better than a quiet night at home.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Not at all. The secret of a good massage is being in alignment with what a client desires and being able to fulfill those wishes.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I want clients to already be thinking of our next time together. This to me is the ultimate compliment of our time together.
