I have been a licensed massage therapist for 13 years and have performed over 8,000 massages .
There is a strong distinction between getting a massage from someone who has extensive training and education and someone who else who is just trying to make “extra income on the side”
I went to one of the top 10 institutes recognized nationally for therapeutic massage and bodywork excellence.

I am a licensed massage therapist : there is a big difference :) I've been fully licensed for 13 years and passionately helping people to improve their life and make meaningful changes to their health . I had a successful studio in Ann Arbor Michigan and worked with the University of Michigan athletic sports teams and U of M school of medical professionals.

- Yes! I am so passionate about massage. So many people have told me, “by far the best massage they've ever had.” I intuitively communicate with the energy of the body and know exactly how to adjust the pressure , pace and rhythm of the massage. Every massage is like a meditation for me and puts both me and my client in a deep state of a relaxing trance.

- I'm a jack of all trades. I'm a musician, play the piano, compose music , native American flute, didgeridoo. Artist painter . I am a really good Vegan chef 🌱and I’m extremely knowledgeable about health and nutrition. I'm a good singer. I also do really good vocal impressions/impersonations like Gandalf from lord of the rings , and family guy characters , and Winnie the pooh. Isn't that cute?!

- I've never been a masseur . I've only ever been a licensed massage therapist 😁 and for the rest of my life.

- Don't do it unless you want your hands to hurt. Haha. Jk.
Ok. Seriously : Educate yourself and actually go to school for it and get your license. Take classes. There are so many "masseuses" and there's so much more potential for LICENSED MASSAGE THERAPISTS with a solid education and expert training. :) you'll be grateful for the knowledge and wisdom you'll earn from going to school for it.
