HealingHero's Personal Masseur Interview

- I don't travel much because to be honest, I haven't had the money to. I have been very burdened by my injuries and student loans to ever really even afford that kind of life style. It has just not been in the cards for me. So I am more of a home body for sure!

- I will be doing massage probably for the rest of my life, with artificial intelligence taking over so many jobs, I feel very secure with being a healer and a massage therapist. Human touch is something that can never be replaced by AI. When I get older, I will be teaching employee members how to heal people through massage and pivot a little bit in that regard. I will continue to grow in my passion, and in my career. I see no point in switching careers, especially when I am a natural nurturer type, and am very intuitive so massage is something that fits my natural biological inclinations.

- I want them to feel like they have found a hero... A Healing Hero!! haha A hero that will put in A LOT of time, energy and passion into trying their absolute best to help you with your injuries. Trust me on this, no one really cares to help you when you get injured. How many friends or family say to you: "I heard you have a hurt shoulder, I can come over after work and help you stretch it, and work with you on some of the physical therapy exercises that your PT has you do at home" Come on people honestly how many people have said that to you. How many people have offered to come to your rescue... Not many I would guess. You are relegated to the PT that your insurance covers, who sees 10 patience a day, and who doesn't care all that much because they have probably never been in a life altering accident. I care because I was injured, and now helping people in this way gives my life meaning.

I was mildly joking with the start of this paragraph. Healing Hero is just the name of my brand haha. I think it has a ring to it!

- I am good at it, and it is very flexible with my schedule.

- Pick a different profession so I can get more clients hahaha just kidding.

- Depends on the masseurs and the person. Some people are more empathic, and natural people pleasers which are two key ingredients for providing a great service. Other people only care about winning, and getting the advantage out of any given deal so all they care about is getting the most amount of money and putting in the lease amount of work. Not me and my reviews reflect that. I am a natural people pleaser because of the relationship with my mother. I read once in a book called "The Disease To Please" that children with alcoholic parents grow up to be people pleasers as a by product of the alcoholic parent. My mother was very selfish, and constantly unhappy, and the child then continually tries to please the unhappy mother, and then this becomes a pattern for the rest of the child's life.

- I am a hard worker, and I deeply care about healing people through massage and movement. I am a chill and easy going person except when it comes to healing. I become super enthused and high energy, and I really like it when people match my enthusiasm. I have had a serious injury (see photos) and now it gives my life a deeper sense of meaning to help others with their injuries and pain because no one would help me when I was going through my recovery. I would go to physical therapists, and they were all so lazy, I could never get them to do much of anything. They wouldn't even touch my body and feel the injuries. p

- Well I have been doing massage for years but recently decided to advertise on RentM. I haven't regretted the decision whatsoever. I have made new friends, and even new business partners with some of my clients. Best job I have ever had. I love the human to human connection. Thank you so much Rentmasseur for making this platform.

- I would for sure because it has opened a lot of other doors for me as well, because I get to know people so well during my sessions that it is also a way I use to network, and meet people. People are so relaxed and feel so good that they open right up to me, and you get to know people more than you typically would out in another setting.

- I enjoy riding bikes, going to the gym, eating tacos, and watching animals doing funny things on YouTube. lol

- I want clients to like it so much that they are already scheduling another massage from me lol I get massages too, and I know what I want. A good value for a fair price, so I just try to offer an excellent value for a fair price.

- I put my back into it... Literally. I try hard during the massages, because of that combined with a good attitude, and people will always hire me again. AND I like repeat clients because then it's like having another friend.

- I consider my self the Michael Jordan of massage, so yes to answer the question, I consider myself a successful masseur lol
