HolisticMassage's Massage Interview
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I will do everything possible to create a massage experience that is a safe space, where the receiver can explore a more intimate connection to HIS OWN BODY. The massage is an invitation to explore and enrich your own sensations and to leave relaxed, enriched and recharged. The techniques work not only on physical-muscular level, but also have an emotional-energetic impact.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I'm convinced that everyone massage therapist has a unique way of creating a resonance with the body of the receiver. My style has been described as a firm touch with a gentle & healing intention. It is NOT a one-size-fits-all, but it will adapt to what's needed in that particular moment.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
The more training one get's the more techniques one can choose from and apply to different situations and bodies. So YES, it's not only intuition (which is also really important) it's also training. I have more than 400 hours of total training experience. We can learn so much from each other, so I think it's important to stay curious and keep learning.
Why did you become a Masseur?
I just love creating a relaxing experience for someone who feels stress or a discomfort! The world will be a much better place, if we all collectively would be calmer and with less tensions. Let's start one body at a time :)
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I practice lots of yoga and meditation, which is helps immensely to give a good massage. Being out in nature is wonderful!
