HolisticOs's Personal Masseur InterviewLast Updated: Jan 11, 2020
- Fully pampered and loved. A friend masseuse told me once that giving a massage is like making love to someone, you should put so much care that your clients feel loved, I totally agree with that statement. I want my clients to leave feeling cared, loved and physically restored.
- Train yourself in a good school. Go out your comfort zone and always learn new techniques from your peers.
- Yes it is, anyone can pretend to be a masseur by watching some cheap online tutorial or taking a two month class. Reality is you need lessons from experts (mostly therapist teachers), you need to learn anatomy, practice, practice, practice and lots of correction in order to deliver a successful secure massage therapy. This is achieved by taking some serious training at a certified massage school. Many times I have had to fix what others "masseurs" have done to my clients bodies. Always check that your therapist is certified, you don't want to leave worse than when you arrived for the massage.
