JacksonKCMO's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I DO remember my first client. He was so sweet and so accommodating to me as he knew this was the first time i had accepted a new client. I remember his body was beautiful and i enjoyed the touch and making him feel better. So many knots. I think i worked on him for nearly two hours.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
I count my success with each new session. Each time one of my clients leaves smiling and all stretched out and able to move in a healthy way again, i fee like my day has been a success.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I want my client to feel happy, respected, reassured, super relaxed, tingly and a little sore.
Why did you become a Masseur?
I became a masseur to help people heal. Life in general is filled with turmoil, stress and absurdly busy schedules. I want to remind my clients to enjoy the moment. To breathe. Stretch. Seek rejuvenation and appreciate the powerful healing through touch.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I travel a few times a year. Not as much as id like. Funny though i would probably be described as a homebody
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
I think so absolutely. Youd never want to hurt someone. You want to learn and understand how to treat and renew the exact areas that need attention. The more training you have the better variety of techniques you can offer
