I highly recommend setting up some time with Jake if he is visiting your area. Jake was easy to contact and set up a time. He's very friendly and makes you feel very welcome. Everything about my experience with Jake was fantastic. It was easy to book with him. He stayed at a very nice hotel. I was greeted with him wearing a towel. He explained his massage technique and also wanted to know how long I would like to be on my stomach, back, etc. Throughout the massage he asked to make sure if I was comfortable and if the pressure was ok (I am a big guy and like it deep). I loved his technique. At times it was like I was getting a four handed massage!

Here are ten reasons why I appreciated him: He is a graduate of a massage school; he brings a massage table when he travels; he stayed at a nice hotel in central Madison; he offers a 45 minute massage which is in my price range; he was willing to make the appointment via email because I am not able to text; he offered a couple options for the massage; he heard and honored a couple requests I made; he did not ask personal questions like my age, line of work, etc.; ending with a warm towel was a nice touch; and we ended with a warm hug. I look forward to seeing Jake again when he returns to Madison.

I booked a massage with Jake while in Minneapolis. Nice guy, and the massage was good. Nice pressure and comfortable table and settings. When I get a massage I like to totally unwind, and lose myself for the hour. During the massage... there were several pauses, where maybe a minute passed, and nothing was happening. When this happened... I looked up from the table and realized Jake was texting on his phone. This happened 3 or 4 times during the 60 min massage. To be honest, it was a total turnoff for me and made me anxious. If I book an hour with a massage therapist, I would hope that I would have his devote attention for the 60 mins while I'm on the table. Those long pauses while he was texting felt like a eternity. It ruined the experience for me, which is a shame, because the massage was good. Anyhow... not the best experience for me personally. I gave him 4 stars instead of 3 because when he was actually massaging me... I enjoyed it, but those long pauses while texting was a disappointment for me. I would hope a massage therapist could forget about his phone for an hour while working with a client.

Jake was easy to schedule with. He gave an excellent massage. He paid attention to areas that others typically miss like head, face, feet, hands and wrist area. He’s very talented. I would highly recommend him and hope to schedule another visit the next time he is in town!
