JakeHuntr's Massage Interview
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
I wouldn't go so far as to say that being a masseur is addictive. I find that my clients are what keep me coming back to work every day. Seeing the ***ulative and very visceral results of my work over time helps to remind me of why I am here. I am here to provide healing and I am humbled in that.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I'm bound to be one of the most interesting men you can have a conversation with. I have many interests and passions that I love to share with others.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I am a multi-instrument musician/artist. I have been playing music all my life and am busy at work on my first album.
I also love to cook and bake. I eat a gluten free/vegan diet so, much of my time is spent in the kitchen.
Why did you become a Masseur?
Through my school/work experiences, I kept coming back to massage. The positive effects on both myself and my clients makes it worth it every time. I can say I am truly being happy with the work I am doing.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Yes, absolutely. I have been an LMT for just over four years and have been blessed with amazing clients and great experiences, overall.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I want for them to feel as though they are refreshed and relaxed. I strive to create a comfortable space for my clients so that they feel at ease right away.
