Jayhands's Personal Masseur InterviewLast Updated: Jul 15, 2020
- I have been a masseur for a little over 2 years. I see myself massaging for as long as I can
- I became a masseur after many years of massaging people like my friends and family members. They always told me I should go into massage and I didn't think anything of it until I was 20 years old wanting to make good money on my own time. I did a few 4-hand massages with a good friend of mine before I actually started to advertise myself. I haven't looked back since.
- My advice to someone who's potentially looking to become a masseur is that they should be available very often. People inquire for a session from dusk to dawn. I would also let them know that they should take care of their body. Personally, If I were ordering services such as a massage I would want it from someone who also takes care of their body. My last piece of advice would be not to feel uncomfortable around strangers. Be kind and respectful no matter who they are because at the end of the day they are giving you business.
- The massage community is competitive and that is a fact. I have experienced that first hand, but it didn't stop me from progressing. I have qualities that others don't and I use them to my advantage. I am younger. I have endurance. I am a proud gay man who is comfortable around different types of men. Whether they are gay, straight, bisexual, or in the closet. I won't allow my client to feel as if they can't trust me. I am part of a generation that wants everyone to have the right to be who they want to be, proudly. I give massages that are truly medicinal. I don't fluff or play anyone. I am not a lazy person chasing the money. I give the massage as described and nothing less. My massage is far from a waste of time. I'm a cute healthy boy always ready to take on whatever comes my way. I guarantee a unique experience.
- I don't travel that often, sadly. I get so comfortable at home that I don't go out of my way to book a flight. I want to travel more. If I could- I would go everywhere! I try not to be at home often. I love to be out and about. The excitement of being in a different city/state is what I live for. This coming year I will definitely be traveling way more than I did this last year. Keep an eye on me. I may be in a city near you!
- Training is very crucial to being a masseur. Anyone can do massage but with training you will become a MASSEUR. There is a difference. The only ones that are truly successful are the ones that have a background of some type of training. I love teaching others how to massage great pressure points. I don't think anyone can last 6 months or more if they don't have expert training for at least 1-2 months first. Its possible, of course. I just prefer my masseur to know what they are doing vs just rubbing cream/oil on me.
- Just like I mentioned in a previous question similar to this one. I want my client to feel all of their worries were massaged away. I want them to flush out all of their tension and stress on my table of their bed so afterwards they can focus on priorities. I know things can get frustrated when we have too many things on our shoulders so to say. I want my client to feel excited for our next session when they leave. I will be there to book with them once they contact me!
- I have a few hobbies that I am proud of. I love to dance. Dance brings me to a beautiful state of mind. The art that I perform with my body inspires me that I can be bigger than I may seem to be. I love cooking. I eat out rarely. If I do eat out then I make sure it is at a decent place offering some rare things on the menu that Ive not seen before. I also love to do makeup. I would say that I am a feminine gay but not many people are attracted to gay boys that act feminine. So instead I want to emphasize that it's not just a female act- it's also an amazing art. People shouldn't underestimate the beauty of makeup. Lastly, I love the gym. It is my 2nd home. Everyday I leave the gym I love to feel that I accomplished more than I did yesterday.
- My clients come in different colors and I mean that personality wise. My expertise is in being intuitive with my client. During a massage I can tell when there are soreness and tension. After a massage I want my client to feel that I did go above and beyond to interest them for more. I love people and I want to do nothing but have them feel absolute ecstasy after a session.
- There are many things that someone can get out of me by just asking question. I am an open book for the most part. I love having conversation during a session, but I am always respectful if you'd like to just relax and enjoy the soundscapes that I play during the session. Nonetheless don't be afraid if you'd like to have a conversation with me. It is a safe space with me.
- I am a very successful masseur. I offer a legitimate massage unlike plenty of others. My massage may turn erotic, but at the end of the day the time is ultimately my clients. I don't have problems with any of my clients. I am there to pamper per request. I love giving massages. I don't stop until the time is finished and I am sure my clients appreciate my dedication to exceed expectations.
- I am 23 years old. I don't think at my age I would miss it. I think it would be quite easy for me to move on to a different trade if I choose to stop massaging. I have a good sense of being a masseur so it makes it very pleasurable for me to know that I am helping out other men with their stress and so on. In conclusion, I wouldn't miss massaging.
- I do most certainly remember my first client. I actually remember majority of my clients. My first massage was very pleasant. I was in the South side of Las Vegas in a very suburban area. The house was absolutely amazing. My client was visiting from the UK for a wedding. The massage was done on a bed and he was very quick to make sure I was comfortable. He was an older gentleman. He had some problem areas but he didn't mind the pressure I was using because I assured him that it was only for the better. Unfortunately we have not crossed each others paths again, but hope one day I do.
