Jaysan's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
My first client was in LA just on time I finished my certification in deep tissue massage, he was a very chatty and humble young adult and we had a very good small chat during his massage.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
I love connecting with people and work on their bodies to make them feel better and relaxed, I will miss my clients that’s for sure!
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
My success is based on my skills and the happiness of my clients instead of my physic.
I consider my self a great great masseur.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I think my “personality” is really welcoming, even when some clients are rude or I am out of their expectations I’m kind honest and very polite with everyone.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Relaxed happy and ready to enjoy their day.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I’m very active outdoors, hiking swimming and biking are my top and favorited activities.
Also love studying foreign languages.
Why did you become a Masseur?
I’m a certified personal trainer and during my training, I need to take a certification in sports massage and I like it even more than training people! The wellness and the scenario of my hands making the muscles feel better it’s just amazing.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Make the training be a certified masseur, someone is going through a bad day or stressful time and the only way you can help him on the right way is learning.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
My technique and the way I treated my clients. Specially my professionalism.
(Also did anyone notice some masseurs are copying my text from my profile? I feel flattered)
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I have been doing massages for the past 6 years from now and I will keep doing probably for a couple of years more. I love it.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I love travelling I wish I can travel more often like 2 years ago, to be honest, but I have great clients in my city that always kept me busy.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
I think the training worth the effort if you want to be different, polish your skills and offer better techniques.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
Satisfied and waiting for the next one ... 😉
