JoaquinAP's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
Yes I do remember my very first client he was very nice with me and he enjoyed my massage and he make appointment with me two time a months for more then 15 years
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I believe I am different from other masseurs, because of my ability to speak with a client and know what they need from my massage, what they might enjoy, and how I can make them feel the best I can. My goal is always to please my client. As a result, I have many repeat customers that I have been servicing for years. My goal is always to make my clients feel good and to treat them with total respect.
Why did you become a Masseur?
Although I was an architect by schooling and trade, I have always felt since childhood that massages are healing. I had a special touch as a child to give a massage and my family felt better. Years later I decided to use my gift of massage full time and became a masseur.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I would like my client to feel that their needs were met and their physical concerns were addressed. I want my clients to feel pain relief, relaxation, and more in touch with their body. I perform my massages knowing my success will be known by my client returning for future massages.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Yes because I’m still in business after 25 years and I have many repeat clients, some for 25 years
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
It is of course necessary to have formal massage training, as I did years ago. Most important is to have the “gift of massage,” the desire to give and the talent to do it well. With my many years as a masseur, I keep learning and even improving. Each client can provide a new lesson for me to keep improving my talents.
