KDMassage's Massage Interview
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I like them to feel relaxed, happy, and ready to take on their day! I love when a client tells me, "That felt great!" or "I feel so good right now"
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
I would say so. There's so much to learn about the body! Having gone through massage school, I can tell you that it is not something you just pick up! But more important is the desire to help and experience. You need to work on so many bodies to pick up what works for you and what works for your clients!
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
I say, just do it! Find a good school to go to near you, and try it out! If it's not for you, you'll know pretty quickly. But the feeling of being able to help someone with their body is one of the best in the world!
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I want them to feel happy and relaxed! Massage has so many benefits, but the biggest one, in my opinion, is relaxation. We all have stress, and it can do horrible things to our bodies and minds. By grounding ourselves and relaxing, we can start that process of feeling better!
Why did you become a Masseur?
I went to massage school because I wanted to find something that was flexible for extra income. But after my first week at school, I knew this was more than just a side gig. It felt right, and natural, to use my skills to help others
