LoganSkylark's Personal Masseur Interview
Last Updated: Apr 15, 23:18

1
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?

- I know where you need focus. If you would like to have a quite meditative session. If your aches and pains are priority, I'll see it. If touch energy and passion is lacking in your life, I will know. If you need to talk something out for yourself, I can listen. If you need to talk out your observations of reality and and have a deep discussion and honest observation apposing or not. I can have those conversations without limiting emotions. Or a little of all those things may play out. Human Intuition is a thing use it or lose it. It's not like its magic. Your coming to see me for a specific set of needs. Reading witch those are in the proportions you need them isn't rocket science. Beside the dance of give and take plays out on its own.

2
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?

- At peace, balanced, worry free, recharged, light as a feather and ready for the world again.

3
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?

- Many hobbies, man of all trades and master at none. Everything seems like a hobby.

4
Why did you become a Masseur?

- It came naturally and it felt familiar.

5
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?

- If you are solace and draw energy from nature and earth and sun. Then you are a generator and you recharge on your own. And you can re-charge others. Are you graceful in motion. Can you visualize on others where you feel most of your stress aches and pains. Good at measuring density of muscles temperatures application of pressure. Know the normal range of motion and sense the limitation in others. Can you sense when someone is cold. Hunched over in posture. Do you notice the micro expressions of muscles and see commonalities and pattern of behavior and conclude the root causes. Can you empathize to others. Do you want to intuitively heal and help others. Good don't worry you'll be great at this.

6
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!

- I remember they were overly enthusiastic about my routine. I was please to find this was to be the constant reaction to my sessions.

7
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?

- I would have to know all the other Masseurs. I don't, So the truthful answer is. "I do not know". I have been told many times by clients they were glad that I knew what I was doing and that I was the first that has given them a legitimate massage. But, I also know their are other Masseurs on here who are very good at this as well. So I cannot make a statement based on what little I know about all the other masseurs.

8
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?

- For another 5 years maybe. Then the occasional trade.

9
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?

- I do no like to travel.

10
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?

- No, Some take to it intuitively. Graceful Dancers and athletes who are aware of their own bodies are generally naturals as this. They know their muscles they know what feels good after having a massage and can visualize the positioning motions to apply the leverage needed to apply the pressure to them. They know where they have the most aches and pains and can focus on those areas on others. Some just have the thought process to be naturals. I do have to say however training just cements your thought and if you are one of these people you will find training to be a breeze.

11
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?

- Most likely. I find balance myself in getting people back to a center point of euphoria and relaxed state. I feel like I'm a energy generator and if I don't let the energy flow out of me into another I'm not in a centered place myself. When I am in a passionate state, focused on healing and caring for another I can charge others. If I'm in a crowed place I feel my energy is being pulled from me unwillingly and I become negative. So I have to be in the right state before I can release my energy to another in a positive way. It's true this is speculative and how things seem without evidence. So take this with a grain of salt. But I do feel our energy is a body part and I have always been tuned into my body's state.

12
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?

- Consistently happy, Its possible they are just being nice. But the tips and return clients are the real tell.

13
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?

- Yes
