LouisMonti_MT's Personal Masseur Interview
Last Updated: Mar 07, 21:04

1
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?

- I have a passion for helping people feel loved, appreciated, and seen in all that they are. I have a unique ability to tap into your energy and use kinetic forces to cleanse it, just like Rogue from X-Men. I will absorb any toxic energy that no longer serves you and release it back into the universe, making peace with it once and for all. In its place, I will infuse you with my healing energy, which you can carry with you in your everyday life. My goal is to leave you feeling renewed, confident, and ready to take on the world. I am here to be inspired by you, and I hope that I can inspire you too. You may even drift off to sleep, as this happens more often than you think. Trust me, this experience will be like no other.

2
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?

- Establishing a healthy relationship with my clients is crucial. When clients feel comfortable with me, it warms my heart. By cultivating a sense of self-love and feeling lighter with a recharge of fresh new energy, they can conquer their everyday goals in life.

3
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?

- It's only addictive if you embody positive and beneficial infectious energies that only want the best experience for you and them. Keep the good vibes coming!

4
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!

- The power of touch and healing can be truly transformative. My decision to become a masseur was driven by a personal incident, and my first client taught me valuable lessons about the art of massage therapy. Despite my nervousness, I was able to connect with my client on a deep level, and our session left me feeling confident, inspired, and fulfilled. It was a reminder that sometimes, the most meaningful experiences can come from unexpected places. And of course, the beautiful mountains of Asheville added an extra touch of magic to the experience.

5
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?

- For 7.5 years! Massage is my passion. Yes, it has bonus components, but learning about the mechanics of the human body and its function is appealing to me. Now that I'm on my journey of becoming Georgia Licensed in 2023, I will continue my knowledge in massage by building a business around it to bring a new and innovative approach to what I'd like to see in the massage world. I plan to take advanced education in massage, attend global retreats, create products, and eventually teach! On top of this, I'm also attending university to study entrepreneurship to be well-rounded.

6
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?

- Make sure that you're doing this for all of the right reasons. It is essential to put the client first before all of your needs. No matter where you come from or where you've received your training, get together with great mentors(like me) and we will guide you through the dos and don'ts of becoming a masseur. I do highly encourage that if you decide to become a masseur for a long period of time, definitely consider obtaining a massage license at some point not only to gain credibility but to ensure that you will be a well-rounded masseur through high-end knowledge, emotional intelligence and anatomy, and physiology.
Whatever it is you decide to do with your massage business is completely up to you. Love what you do and pour your heart and soul into your work and the rest will follow. When I do massage, it's about telling a story through my hands that invites the client to my world of the unforeseen. Once the client is there, everything else is completely magical. I'm currently completing my degree in entrepreneurship so if you have any added bonuses to add to your practice, go for it. The sky is the limit. Lastly, your local www.massagewarehouse.com or amazon are your best fr

7
Why did you become a Masseur?

- Wellness has always been a love language of mine. I've embraced touch in so many different formats through both intimacies and in the art of healing. One of the gifts I have is that I can both feel and read energy in ways that might surprise my clients. It's a manipulation method I've learned to master over the years by using it to connect with men on a much deeper level that goes beyond the physical body. It can be emotional in many ways because not only are you detoxifying your body of toxins, but the mind is also purging by simply letting go of inhibitions through the art of the breath. Trust should always be earned so it is important that if I touch a body, I'm able to access as much as I can with consent.
How did I become a masseur? Massage found me when I needed it the most. At first, it was for survival but it became a love note ignited by a passion for not only touch, but the feeling my clients get after I'm done working on them. If they feel recharged, I feel recharged. I'm a current student in entrepreneurship and a continued learner of massage. As long as you need me, there is no stopping this beautiful profession anytime soon. Massage saved me. So allow me to save you.

8
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?

- Yes and no. It's good to have an educational background in wellness in any shape or form before getting into this world. You must be prepared to work hard, hustle, and make your clients feel at home. You also want to make sure you are aware of liability. If you are, consider protecting yourself with a massage license and insurance. That is what I'm currently doing in addition to securing my degree in business/entrepreneurship to continue using what I know to apply it to this masseur world I've grown to love over the years. I've grown so much! And all I want to do now is give back. So follow what you feel is right. It wouldn't hurt to get a license at first - which is something I wish I did - but I'm happy with where I'm at by doing it now. If you see yourself doing this for years to come, consider getting your license, EVEN if it becomes a side hustle.

9
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?

- I grew up a WWE fan. I used to go to the shows with my family. I loved it so much that I began to imitate the wrestlers in my own backyard with the other neighborly kids. Was it a liability? You better your sweet hairy ass it was. Luckily, no one was hurt. My favorite wrestlers growing up of ALL time, even 'til this day are hands down the "Brothers of Destruction," The Undertaker, and Kane.

10
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?

- Success is determined by the success of you, the client. I strive to be the best at what I do because it's that knowledge, hands-on experience, and customer service satisfaction that helps me improve. I aim to please by assuring you get exactly what you want and so much more. The success of an experience is when I receive thank you letters, unexpected gifts, and returning clients that will remember my services and book me again - which is completely flattering. I know I'll be doing this for a very long time. Why? Because I'm always here for you and I always commit to the highest bar of customer satisfaction.

11
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?

- Oh gosh. That's a good question. I'd say, video games are a good one. I love biking around the city exploring new restaurants, museums, zoo's, comedy shows and neat shops with local art pieces. Yoga has become a HUGE part of my life so I practice as often as I can, preferably in the heat! I also teach privately so don't hesitate to ask questions! I love cooking and hosting friends for events! More importantly, traveling!

12
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?

- My kind eyes. New perspectives from living in multiple cities. My inviting smile. My comforting personality provides a sense of love, ease, and acceptance to ALL walks of life. If you're nervous, it's okay, I'm a huge teddy bear! Making you laugh usually breaks the ice!

13
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?

- As often as I can! I also love being home too. So I guess you can say, I'm both in ways. But traveling sure does heal the soul!
