LoveismTherapy's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I do remember! Was right after graduate from school and the client was looking for a relaxing massage. I confess I was very nervous and I told the him that was my first massage after school. He was very nice to me and end up loving the session becoming my client for many years after that.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Oh yeah. I think we are very addicted to the feedback we constant get. Its very rewarding to know we made someone feel better in the middle of the chaos. Not only physically but meanly mentally. It definitely make us feel good.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I'm someone very easy going who like to spend my time in nature. I love studying about holistic therapy and psychology. Love chatting with my clients sharing life experiences and together coming to deep understanding about the whole.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Physically and emotionally renewed.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I have few! Is traveling considered a hobby? Because if it is, that is my favorite one for sure :)
In my spare time I'm either doing something in the nature or doing something with a friend, but normally is both together.
Love going to the airport to see the airplanes landing and taking off, aviation is one of my passions too. (I know it sounds weird lol)
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Find an purpose in doing it. Have a bigger reason, don't look only for the money because after a while you will be bored if you don't love what you do.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I LOOOVE traveling!! I try to take a small vacation every 3 months.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I wanna them to have the feeling they have to be back soon. ;)
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I finished school in 2011! I think I'm going to still doing in for a long time. Just adding new techniques and treatments to make the work more dynamic and giving clients many different options in the healing process.
Why did you become a Masseur?
In the beginning was just because a friend of mine was doing and making a good money lol
But then I found a purpose doing it. The love we share and the connection we make is the reason I wanted to stay and continuing working with my clients.
