I had my first of what I hope to be regular sessions with Jonathan yesterday. It was all I could have hoped for and more. His Thai massage technique is done on a mat on the floor and incorporates long strokes of firm pressure, coupled with stretching and holding stretches to get the best effects. To do this, he uses his (very) strong hands, thumbs, and muscular forearms. For the legs, hips and lower back, he basically wrapped my legs around his torso. He also concentrated on my traps, neck and skull/ face, all of which was soothing and stress releasing. Mutual touching and appreciation of his physique (the man is carved from marble!) were permitted upon request. The entire process was sensual and evocative. I left completely satisfied. At the end, I felt like my whole body had been worked over with a foam roller at the gym- I was totally relaxed. He is a very handsome and kind man, a good conversationalist, but not overly chatty. As I indicated, I will become a regular, despite living more than an hour away. Definitely worth the drive and the very reasonable fee. Parking is easy, too!
