Masstanpro's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I was only 14 when I attended a casting for models. Shortly after, I was invited to a personal meeting where I discovered that I also had massage skills. This is quite a spicy and interesting story, but the content is too hot to be exposed on the website.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Some say that success is the equivalent of happiness. If you're happy, you've succeeded. Success is something we all strive for (like happiness), but the funny thing is that each of us has our own definition of success, which can be quite different from others.
"Find a job you love and you'll never have to work again"
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Stress-free, self-confident and charged with positive energy.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Being a masseur can be addictive. At this moment I enjoy my job and trying to get the best out of it, but nobody know how long. I love to spoil my guests and I would give the maximum of myself to make them happy. I would definitely miss these times...
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
Well educated, traveled, extrovert, open minded, social and friendly. At work, I am trying to be professional and service minded.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Interested in sports and love visiting the gym frequently. Enjoying cooking when I’m home and spending time with friends.
Why did you become a Masseur?
I enjoy giving pleasure and sensual touch. I started giving a massage in a very young age. Some people told me, I have golden hands.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Anyone who would like to start working as a massage therapist should research the different groups of people who seek massage services and understand their reasons and needs. Successful massage therapist is ready to serve almost everyone regarding ***, orientation, disabilities etc. Each client/ guest is different from each other and require a different type of massage or technique.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Having a knowledge how to massage and learning techniques is just a small part of the whole job. Working with people can be not easy. Practicing is important, but also self confidence and capability to recognise the needs of the clients are the most difficult part of the job.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I love travelling in the right time, but not too often. Travelling can be exhausting and unhealthy due to the bad eating routine and sometimes lack of enough sleep during a long flights. Being a home boy is not a bad thing, especially, when you have access to healthy food and good rest.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
First time I started massaging 20 years ago. I would continue long enough, until I’m healthy and in a good shape. Age is just a number. A good self care and healthy lifestyle is the basics to be a masseur.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I always like to surprise nicely my clients and I like when they leave my studio with a good memorise.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
What distinguishes me apart from other massage therapists is that I offer a wide range of techniques and entertainment during the session and help my clients discover more about themselves and their minds.
