MasterHealerforU's Personal Masseur InterviewLast Updated: May 31, 2019
- Again, I want my clients to walk out, feeling absolutely amazing!
With their bodies completely re-calibrated, rewired and re-routed to a place of deep bliss, open-heartedness and clear-headed!
- It depends on the individual. Like most professions, anyone can learn the basics skills. However, what makes someone an excellent massage therapist is their true love of people and their intuition that allows them to become less clinical and predictable. Create a unique experience for your clients based on what naturally wants to flow from your heart, your mind, and your hands.
- I am a Gemini, so there is definitely a part of me that loves to be at home and another part of me that loves to travel. I tend to go in spurts, one year I will incorporate a lot of travel and the next I will stay home.
- I have been serving humanity as a massage therapist for 30 years.
I am pretty confident I will continue as long as I am walking and breathing on the planet.
- My ability to see auras, release energy blocks and manifest a deep sense of clarity and calm in my clients mind and body definitely sets me apart.
- Be clear on your intentions for becoming a masseur. Give yourself time to develop your skills and definitely never stop learning and adding new tools and techniques to your tool belt. It will keep you from getting bored and allow you to continue to improve your client experience, which in turn will bring you more joy.
- As a child, I came into this world with the unique ability to see colors around people.
I didn’t know I was seeing AURAS at the time.
I didn’t understand everybody did not see that. The colors would reveal to me information about a person, and I just had an innate, intuitive sense of healing touch that I have developed into a master healing practice over the last 30 years.
- I live in the fantastic Coachella Valley, where there is some of the best hiking in all of California. I love to hike. I love to ride my bike early in the morning in the desert, and I love to work out. I also love to drink margaritas with my buddies at sunset here in beautiful Palm Spring!
- I want all my clients to leave feeling totally amazing.
I know I have achieved that goal when the first words out of their mouth when the session is over include the word amazing.
Usually, they say something like, “that was absolutely amazing” to which I always reply: “mission accomplished.”
- I would like my client to know that I consider my healing practice my calling in my vocation. It is more than a job and more than a career. It is my life and what I was put on this planet to do - help men reclaim their bodies, their health, and their mental well-being through the healing power of touch.
- I absolutely consider myself a very successful masseur.
I have had a thriving practice in some of the most competitive cosmopolitan cities in California!
I have had the pleasure of being the massage team captain for the AIDS Lifecycle for the first four years of their existence. During that period I heard many stories from struggling massage therapists trying to build a successful practice. I am deeply grateful for my thriving practice all these years and super thankful for every beautiful client.
- When you are passionate about your work, I think any profession can become addictive. I do miss putting my hands on bodies when I have taken time off to regroup and rejuvenate myself. I’m usually very eager to get back to my practice and wonderful clients for sure!
- I honestly do not remember my first client.
It was 30 years ago, and I have seriously worked on more than 10,000 bodies in that time.
I do remember the first spa I worked for and how nervous I was!
I so wanted to make sure I provided the five-star service that was expected at the five-star hotel that employed me.
I soon learned I had nothing to be nervous about, the clients loved me, and so did the spa management. I quickly came to love my time there.
