MrRubudown's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
I was a little nervous but I dove in head first. Turned out to be a great massage. I always seem to perform best when under pressure
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
Absolutely! I enjoy the connection I get through touch with other guys
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Being somewhat new at the game, I can honestly say that I am confident and happy with what I have to offer and it shows thru my work
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
People always tell me how I am a totally "laid back" guy. I like that because people feel at ease with me
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
Relaxed and a sense of knowing they got theirs money worth and exactly what they wanted
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I am an adventurer and I wear many hats. From Texas Realtor to flight attendant to club dj, I have done it all and continue to look for new and exciting ways to enhance my life. Because I am a people person, massage is a perfect fit for me.
Why did you become a Masseur?
I honestly like the charge I get from meeting strangers and making them feel welcome and comfortable when I put my hands on them for massage
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Do it for the right reasons. Be good at what you do and dont ever rush.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I have had many years of connecting with people thru my other jobs which makes it easy for me as a masseur.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I started in 2020 and would love to do this as long as I can.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
As a masseur I have not traveled because of the current pandemic, but I am eagerly waiting to hit the road asap. I also love massaging out of my home just because of the convenience.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
I have had so many massages that were inadequate and rushed. I also felt some guys were in it for the wrong reason. Training is great but what I have learned is that the best training is during the massage. Listen to your clients and read their body actions and you will excell.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I want them to be 100% satisfied and have a sense that I truly cared about what they wanted.
