My time with muscleGinger was magical. He took care of me in oh so many ways. I was very relaxed and rubbed down with full body strokes and full body contact. I will be booking him again the next time I’m in SD.

I had a great massage with Newell last week. He was so easy to schedule, super responsive and accommodating. I requested a very deep tissue massage and he gave me just that. The firm pressure on my shoulders was just what I needed. The next day, my shoulders were the most relaxed they have been in a long time. Newell is super friendly and easy to talk too. I will certainly schedule another appointment with him when I am back in San Diego. You should too, you will not regret it.

After 2 days of yard work my body needed some relaxation and MuscleGingerXL gave me an amazing 60 min massage. The pressure and techniques he used relaxed my body and was able to fall asleep right away. The environment was very relaxing and soothing. I highly recommend using him.

After running the San Diego Rock 'n Roll 5k, I was sore and in need of some therapeutic care. MuscleGingerXL was...well...handsomely XL, a ginger, and had great technique (and that smile...are you kidding me?!). It was exactly what I wanted, as I am 6'3", 220 and have a hard time finding a masseuse that can properly handle a large frame. The table he uses is custom designed, and by FAR is the most comfortable I have experienced. He is friendly, communicative and, most important, responsive to his client. I plan to come back again and again!

Let me preface this review with the fact I’m super tall. I have had back issues all of my life, and massage is one of a few things I prioritize for when it comes to therapy/self care. Newell, from the moment our correspondence began set the bar very high. I want to share detail but that’s like a spoiler for a movie. Then the massage. This guy is so intuitive. He went straight to my troubled spots and applied the pressure I needed. Strong. I appreciated most that he was friendly and hospitable. Being comfortable is paramount when you’re getting ready to relax and I left feeling like a found a new friend. But most importantly. I left on a cloud. I kept using the word transcendent lol. Do yourself a favor and book this guy.

I had a 4-hand session with MyscleGingerXL. the session went great and I had an awesome time ! he asked me the level of pressure I wanted at the beginning .. I like a stronger pressure and he did apply the perfect amount ! He was very thorough in exploring and massaging the very sensitive parts of my body and made me feel relaxed after the session. I highly recommend him and will do this again !!

I have had a massage several times with him and his friend, they are the best!

Being back on this hot man’s table and under his welcome touch is the perfect antidote to the stress of the holidays and the best way to end the year. With many choices, I lucked out and chose the best! I had an incredible massage. Newell gives an amazing massage. A great choice of pressures. He uses his hands arms and body to get every aching muscle. Great conversations too. Beautiful studio with pleasant music.

If you are in San Diego, the best gist you can give yourself is time with this intoxicating man! I was first referred by a masseur who had retired, and now he is on my priority list for self care. From the welcoming smile on his handsome face to an expert massage under his skilled hands, it was a total healing and fantasy experience.

Pressure was great and got into all the nooks and crannies. The therapeutic and pleasurable aspects were perfectly balanced and I went into my day with a spring in my step and a smile on my face. Book this gentleman and #treatyoself!

He has a very calm and relaxing persona. Easy to talk to and made me feel at ease. Worked out all the knots in my back and gave my legs the attention they needed! Will definitely be going back!

Where to begin? I had such a wonderful experience during my session with Newell. He made me feel so comfortable right out of the bat, he’s so nice, warm and charismatic. His place is so quite and relaxing, great ambiance and the heated table was incredible; and the massage: I have no words. I didn’t know I needed my scalp and hands massaged, it was a pleasant surprise on top of the super thorough and relaxing massage. He focused on my back pain, without compromising the rest of my body and got me so relaxed that I was drifting off during our time together. He truly is a gentle giant and an expert masseur. 1000% recommended.

Wow! I’m a bigger guy and some masseurs don’t work on big guys. Not the case with MuscleGinger. He was fantastic. He was considerate and made me feel like I was his most important client. I mean I honestly can’t say enough about him. He worked my troubled areas with expertise and checked in constantly.
Massage is an intimate experience and with MuscleGinger it was all that but very comfortable, as if we had been long time friends..
I left his place feeling relaxed and, for the first time in weeks, I had no pain from my various aches and past injuries.
If his massage techniques weren’t enough, and they are, he is tall, muscular and very easy on the eyes.
I can’t say enough about MuscleGinger. Finally I have found a permanent masseur who checked all the boxes!

This is my 2nd time to see Newell... although there has been a bit of a lapse since my last visit... THERE is NO question - he's still one of the best out there! I treated myself to his 4-handed with his partner David. Awesome barely describes it. Both these guys are great. Accommodating in setting up the appointment. Communication totally on point and very, very welcoming. Pictures do not do them justice - super guys in person. These guys are the real deal. AND more clients should be enjoying the 4-handed. Thanks guys - I won't be waiting 7-years again to get back.

Ok Guys do yourself a favor and book Newell and his partner David if your in San Diego or nearby. They are both absolute sweethearts, Beefy muscular and adorable. I'm particularly into gingers and they exceeded my expectations! If I lived closer I'd probably book them weekly. Very sexy and the massage experience was absolute heaven. If I could rate them higher than 5 stars I surely would. Strong hands everywhere all over your body is sublime.
Can't say enough good things about these two. I'm going to sleep like a baby tonight.

I have had the most amazing massages with this Ginger Viking but today brought things to a whole new level. How could it get any better? Add a second pair of hands. He introduced me to his massage partner and I was in heaven for two hours. Every minute was better than the last. Run don’t walk for a massage from these two studs.

2nd time and really had two major problem areas. Lower back and scapula. Newell used the right pressure and took care kod these areas. 100% satisfied. He will take care of you.

5-stars. A four hand massage was on the cards and… wow… Amazing massage and Newell is simply phenomenal. Could not recommend him any higher. He’s well trained in his craft and he made the experience totally worthwhile. Hes a must go-to guy.

July and August found me in San Diego so I found myself on his massage table. There really is no one better; this tall striking redhead muscle man has hands of gold. You need to experience him for yourself! You will love it.

Seven years ago (2014) I had the opportunity to find MuscleGinger's massage profile online and I booked an appointment. One of the best decisions I have made for a massage. He is very welcoming with a nice set up. MuscleGinger is very talented, knowledgeable and takes the time to know his clientele's specific needs. While I travel often for work or pleasure, I guarantee time for a massage treatment from him when I am in San Diego, but also Many times when flying into LAX, I have made the time to drive down to get a 90 minute massage. This past weekend, I scheduled for what was likely my 25th visit to MuscleGinger and it was as great as the first time. Thank you!!

I have been going to Newell more times than I can count. I’ve seen him so many times during this pandemic. He is a calming influence with his amazing hands and soothing room. He’s also unbelievably hot which doesn’t hurt. I recommend at least two hours with him. Every time I come to San Diego I make sure I spent time on his massage table.
