What a wonderful experience. Truly knows his way around the body. Let me tell you, experience counts. Definitely do the hot tub add-on. Couldn’t ask for a better studio set up.

I had a chance to spend time with him when in New Orleans recently. He was very professional and offered a very thorough massage. His studio is well equipped and the set up is very impressive. I will definitely be back next time in town.

What can I say? If you don’t get a massage from this guy, you are making a huge mistake. The parts that were hurting are feeling fine and the parts that were not hurting, well, they are feeling fine too. I chose not to use the hot tub, my mistake. Next time I will know better. Again, if you are missing NOLA_Rub, you are missing some of the pleasure of New Orleans.

I had a wonderful and most enjoyable experience with Harvey during our session. He is so easy to talk with just like a close friend. I can tell that he really enjoys his trade by the way he massaged my body. It was a total blissful session. He provides a safe environment which is evident by his spotless studio ,and by health questions that are mutually beneficial.
I find him open minded and accommodating to my needs without judgement. He provides a judgement free zone.
I definitely will be seeing him regularly. Definitely worth it!

I was in New Orleans on business and needed a massage due to all the driving I had been doing and decided to give Nola_Rub a try. Safe area. Clean environment. The massage was a nice combination between relaxation and therapeutic. I even had him do some manscaping on me which was great. Will plan to visit him again when I am in New Orleans.

I’ve had many massages in my life, but never with a masseur who is so in tune to my body and who so fluidly moved between working on different areas.

I was immediately given the impression that reasonable precautions to prevent the spread of Covid were standard procedure, which I appreciated. The massage room itself is small but really is not an issue. The entire ambiance is relaxing & the space hand tailored for the purpose of massage. Obviously the experience Harvey brings to his trade goes beyond his massage skills. There is a friendly professionalism that make booking a massage outside of a spa/gym trustworthy & comfortable. Not to mention the personal touch and general privacy of the whole setup.

As other reviewers have mentioned the various stones and instruments (nothing scary) used were explained and really aided the release of tension. Some were totally new for me and were a welcome addition.

It is clear that the masseur is truly focused on the massage as a whole. Though he made have had a game plan (neck, back, right arm, let etc) I did not notice it. So there was no feeling of step by step. I’ll say it again, the most fluid massage of my life.

I had a lovely experience with this masseur. His location is a little out of the way compared to many of the other masseurs in the New Orleans area who are located in the French Quarter, Garden District, and the Faubourg Marigny. However, it was well worth the trip to see him!

He uses a wide variety of techniques and tools to get the job done. In my session, he used his hands, arms, elbows, percussion machine, and hot synergy stones. He knows his way around all of these, and knows how to use these in conjunction with each other to give a great massage!

He was also very receptive to my questions and concerns. He tailored the experience to my needs, and was more than willing to answer my questions, regardless of how detailed they were. In turn, he was genuinely interested in how I felt at every step of the massage, making sure that he wasn't pressing too hard or making me uncomfortable.

He is also very concerned about COVID, instituting a strict but fair policy about accepting clients in this climate. Before accepting my appointment request, he asked me a number of questions about my hygienic practices, social history during the pandemic, and contact with anyone who may have been tested positive for COVID. I appreciate his attention to detail and general concern, given that a lot of people who don't take the pandemic seriously have only been making it worse. And in a field like his, chock full of close contact, COVID is not to be trifled with.

All in all, an excellent, warm, and safe massage that left me feeling a lot better than when I came in! Thank you!

This was one of the best massages I’ve had. Harvey was very attentive and spent time working on problem areas. He explained everything he was doing and made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. I left feeling relaxed and looking forward to booking my next massage.

Harvey is welcoming and has a good sense of humor. After a few questions and answers, we got started. The massage was very good, relaxing me, and soothing the muscles needing attention. It is obvious from his touch that he enjoys what he does. The massage gel was warm and the pressure used was just the right amount. I left feeling refreshed and relaxed.

Harvey has a special, intuitive gift that goes beyond the cliche phrase of the "art of massage." What Harvey does, really, is actually make art through his massage. I feel like a canvas that Harvey uses to paint, but the metaphor doesn't fit because a canvas can't have pain, desire, healing, and history. I have been to Harvey for three sessions now, and each time I leave feeling so healed on many levels, and I live on that high for a while. I can tell that Harvey is someone who really does what he loves, and that he gets enormous satisfaction from, basically, reading his clients' minds and manifesting their desires and needs' ends. As an LGBT person, I have felt uncomfortable in some spa environments, so it's so beneficial to meet someone who can help me reconnect with my body and learn to love my own body. Harvey is empathetic, affirming.

This review is a bit late, but the remembrance of the skillful and relaxing massage provided by Harvey is still very fresh! Harvey was accommodating to my time constraints, and his massage service did not disappoint. His use of massage gel, hot stones and a hot towels was simply superb! I even had moments that allowed me to doze (something that I usually do not do with a new therapist), it was just that soothing and relaxing!

A perfect massage experience. I get a lot of massages and you can usually tell within the first 2 minutes how good or not a massage will be. This one felt great from the very first touch.
