NicholasRivera's Personal Masseur Interview
Last Updated: Jan 11, 16:09

1
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?

- My goal is simple yet profound: for clients to leave here as more open, empowered versions of themselves. Physically, I want them to feel the transformation—the calm, clarity, and grounding that comes after the energetic release they’ve just experienced. But beyond that, I want them to feel proud. Proud for showing up, for stepping into a space many only dream about, and for choosing to overcome fear.

When a client steps into this space, faces that fear, and dares to become the person they’ve always wanted to be—fully present and engaged in their own transformation—that’s a moment worth celebrating. In that moment, they’re not just experiencing the session—they’re rewriting their story. That? That’s extraordinary.

You don’t need a grand, life-altering goal to have an incredible session with me. Maybe you’re here for the simple pleasure of male touch, for intimacy, or even just for connection without the emotional weight. Whatever your reason, we’ll ensure I understand your needs completely. Through honest communication and mutual respect, we’ll create something truly special.

If you don’t believe in magic yet, I promise you this: after our session, you will.

2
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?

- I have no formal training or education in massage and am not certified to provide therapeutic massage in any way.

The Services I provide are self taught and for entertainment purposes only; flirting with the fringes of the sensual and the erotic.

3
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?

- Homebody 100%.

But I’ll go do a big trip once per year and mini outings weekly so that I don’t fuse with the walls of the apartment regardless of how much I love it in here!

4
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?

- The timeline is a bit tricky, as I initially tried my hand at being a masseur years ago, working with a few clients. However, I’d say I’ve been doing this full-time for about two years now.

I hope to continue for as long as I feel creative and passionate about delivering exceptional services to my clients. If the joy and inspiration ever fade, I’ll take a step back—and if the spark doesn’t return, I’ll make the respectful decision to walk away. For me, it’s important to prioritize the well-being of the profession, my clients, and my peers by keeping the energy around this work positive, abundant and fulfilling.

5
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?

- I can probably out-talk just about anyone under the sun—seriously, haha. But honestly, I’m not sure! I’ve had the pleasure of connecting with a few amazing masseurs here and meeting a handful in person. As for me, I’m super Type A with a clear vision for how I want to deliver my services and manage customer flow. Some might call it neurotic—I prefer “preventatively detail-focused.”

If you enjoy detailed breakdowns or thrive on step-by-step tutorials, you’ll love my pre-session texts. If not, well… good luck! Don’t worry—we’ll get through it together (and hey, Siri or ChatGPT can always read them to you at 2x speed!).

Does that make me different? I’d find it hard to believe that no other masseur has similar operating practices, but maybe? Or maybe it’s the scar on my heel that makes me different. Let’s say it’s the latter :).

6
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?

- Just start. You’ll figure it out along the way, and yes, you’ll make mistakes. A customer or two might get upset, but those moments will teach you valuable lessons and help you grow. Keep an open mind, seek feedback, and stay humble. Always remember: the only reason you get to work today is because your clients have chosen to trust you and in turn, invest a chunk of their financial capacity, for one more session with you.

Never take that trust for granted. Give back whenever you can and as often as possible. This is your brand. This is your business. This is your name. Make it something extraordinary.

7
Why did you become a Masseur?

- Because my friends had heard enough about it, and I knew I didn’t want to return to my day job after taking leave following burnout. I had already done the hard part—stepping away—and despite fear, doubt, and all the self-worth and confidence struggles that seemed to surface to hold me back, I found the courage to give it a shot with no expectations.

And here we are today! The takeaway from my journey is this: when you let passion guide you, opportunities will appear, and the money will follow. As long as you’re giving it your absolute best and staying aligned with your purpose, the universe has a way of responding in your favor.

8
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?

- I tend to take things personally—a trait I’ve worked on throughout my life. This sensitivity comes from caring deeply about others and empathizing with their experiences. While challenging at times, it drives my dedication and work ethic. Whether providing a service or handling a small task, I approach every responsibility with full ownership, as if I were the CEO. When I commit, I strive to elevate the outcome in unique ways—because if you’re not aiming to stand out in quality, why start at all?

That said, I sometimes struggle with setbacks or harsh criticism, especially when beyond my control. These moments can stay with me longer than they should, even if I don’t show it. I welcome constructive feedback and believe in exchanging it respectfully. However, I’ve also faced individuals who aim to undermine progress, connection, and positivity. This field has exposed me to such people, and while they’re not the easiest to deal with, I stay focused on maintaining my passion and integrity.

9
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?

- I would be absolutely devastated. When I was 14, a manager told me, “If you find something you love to do, you’ll never work a day in your life.” That advice stuck with me, and every job I’ve had since, I’ve tested it against that idea. While I’ve enjoyed parts of many roles, I never thought I could make a living doing something I fully love—something that feels 0% like work.

Even the less glamorous tasks, like budgeting, planning, and yes, laundry, don’t weigh me down. Though, no one warns you about the sheer amount of laundry—five to six loads every few days! Stock up on detergent and towels because you’ll practically live in the laundry room.

10
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?

- I enjoy conceptualizing new projects and exploring their feasibility—carefully planning and assessing whether they are worth pursuing and if they will add meaningful value to clients and society as a whole. While many of these ideas don’t come to fruition, I’m thrilled to announce that one exciting initiative is about to launch via my website (so don’t forget to sign up for the newsletter, gentlemen!).

This project stems from my desire to make my sessions accessible to clients who may face financial limitations. I wholeheartedly believe in the transformative benefits of my sessions, which, according to my clients, have positively impacted their interpersonal relationships, careers, and self-perception. This initiative reflects my commitment to ensuring these benefits aren’t limited solely to those with the means to afford them.

That’s all I’ll reveal for now (though I’ve already said more than I intended—I’m terrible at keeping surprises!). Stay tuned for the official announcement on January 15, 2025.

11
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?

- I want them to feel pure bliss. The mind unfocused but not scattered. The body recovering on the other side of a powerful release of energy; totally relaxed and at ease. And I want them to leave feeling proud of themselves; so many people sit at home and whether they're conscious of it or not, wish they had the confidence to make a decision like the one my client just made. Its so easy to say "another day" or "when I have more money" or "I just want to find the right one ... a year later'... it's so easy to allow fear, shame and guilt to hijack your actions. In fact, its our default as human beings as once upon a time, those biases helped to keep us alive. However, there are no dinosaurs chasing us home today, and for most life and death are not equal probabilities when you head to work in the morning, Yet still, countless folks sit and think their way into life vs. just living it. But not my clients, they grab life by the horns and demand to live it, experiencing all life has to offer them. My hope is that they understand how impressive and inspiring their attendance at a session truly is and heck yes, that they feel prideful!

12
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?

- Hmm... yes I guess so, I have been able to make the sacrifices needed and put in the hard work required to make this my full time job for the last year and a bit. I'm super grateful to my clients as they are the sole reason why I am blessed to have that experience. Thank you thank you thank you x a million. I love and value you all more than you'll ever possibly understand.

13
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!

- Yes! My gosh he was SO HOT. I rremember being nervous the entire time and baffled that this man not only paid me to do something I found so much joy and satisfaction in, but he also booked his next session, which he insisted he pre pay right there on the spot. When I shut the door as he left, i took a moment and said to myself.... "what the actual f**k just happened?!!" and laughed out loud with my mind, possibly lost, but definitely blown right open. I had finally found the thing I had been searching for after all of these years that was so in line with me, that the word "work" or "job" just didn't seem to fit when describing how I choose to give my energy in delivering services to gentlemen who sought an excpetional body2body experience, It was love at first rub some may say, haha!
