Ka Huna Bodywork - Hawaiian/Polynesian massage
I just qualified in Ka Huna bodywork, the Hawaian Lomi Lomi temple style massage - after training with Mette’s Institute, Denmark/Australia.
This healing system is derived from the ancient Polynesian methods of restoring balance to the body, mind and soul.
The main philosophy of Ka Huna is based on Aloha - unconditional love - and uses nurturing massage with kindness and a gentle, healing touch.
The first time I received myself a Ka Huna massage, the experience was so intense and beautiful - a sort of combination between long Lomi Lomi and Ayurvedic massage strokes, stretching works, Polynesian dance and Reiki together - I didn't know where I was anymore.
How is Ka Huna different?
Ka Huna practitioners work with energy using their hands, forearms and elbows in long, flowing movements similar to Hula and Tai Chi in order to unblock, heal and balance the body-mind.
Ka Huna Benefits:
- Instills a deep sense of calm and relaxation
- Releases deep-seated tension and allows energy to flow more freely
- Improves flexibility and promotes the healing of injuries.
It's the most beautiful and graceful massage I've ever received and I can't wait to perform it on you.
