ReyMatthew's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
It has been years since my first client. All I could remember was that I can help people, make them feel good about themselves, physically and emotionally. This became one of my reasons why I continued working as a masseur.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
I treat it as a profession, something I can earn from and enjoy doing at the same time. I think you would not miss anything if you continue doing it for a long time.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Not yet, but I am on the road to becoming a successful one.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I have a great sense of humor, you'll get a good conversation and a good massage from me at the same time.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I want them to feel so satisfied that they would rebook a massage appointment in advance.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I take care of my body, eat well and go to the gym.
Why did you become a Masseur?
I think this is where I saw my passion, a profession where I am valued the most.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Be honest and be respectful to your clients at all times.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I treat privacy as highly as my respect to my clients.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
Around 3, 4 years. I think I can be one for another 5 or more.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I prefer staying close here in London
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Extensive training and passion
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I want them to be satisfied and happy.
